This is one of 4 different caffeinated k-cup brands that I rotate on a daily basis and enjoy each one. (I have another set for decaf). I appreciate the helpful ratings, and will add my own for others to use. Newman's is enjoyable and has the right taste combination for me. I prefer an extra bold coffee on the strong rather than mild side, for the most part, and I don't like to notice an after taste. This coffee has no after taste and seems to be just the right strength. No negatives to offer.

I have had my Keurig for a month and a half now and have tried about 30 different varities. I will say without a doubt that this Newmans is by far the best. A nice full bodied coffee for those of us who LIKE the taste of coffee and don't try to hide the taste with a lot of foo foo Leave it to an Actor to come up with the best tasting pods around Cheers

I enjoy this coffee. It has a good full flavor but not overwhelming. I like that it is fair trade and organic. Two major pluses. It's smooth enough to enjoy black, and just as enjoyable with a bit of cream. Good consistent coffee. Makes me smile first thing in the morning... I also like that it does not tend to foul my Keurig coffee maker.

This coffee is too bold. To me, it had a burnt nutty taste. I don't enjoy coffee that is too bold as this one. I gave it a try because it came with my new machine, but I would never purchase it on my own. I sipped on it a couple times but ended up pouring the rest out. For those who enjoy super strong cups of coffee this is for you. For those who enjoy mellow, light tasting cups this isn't for us!

Of all the medium roast K-cups I have tried, this is by far my favorite. Newman's Special Blend Extra Bold Coffee is one of the few that tastes like a truly "brewed" coffee - not that others taste bad mind you, this just works really well. It begins with a very nice "Drink me!" aroma that ups the ante on most other medium roasts. Acidity is spot on as well which helps give a nice rounded mouth feel while being pleasantly bitter (bitter is a quality in all coffee - so, it's rather strange to say "not bitter" - in my opinion). Even though it's an extra bold brew, it is also great on the 8oz brew as well, especially if one adds cream and or sugar. Newman's Special Blend Extra Bold Coffee is the most consistent in flavor and quality. If you enjoy medium roast coffees, this should not disappoint!

Please change back to the original "gold label" the one still showing on the top of this page. The new red label is terrible. I am, as we speak waiting for fedex to come and pick this red label up and take it back. I just can not believe that you call this red label a replacement coffee. It is not even close. I am so so disappointed.

I made 2 cappuccinos with this. 2 6oz cups. had to go for a second cup. This coffee is organic, meaning it was grown without cemicals. A great plus for our morning brew. What I used to froth my milk was a smaller french press put out by bodum. It did a great job. but When I get a Rivo I will be able to get the exact type of froth for the type of drink I make. for now I make due with what have until I can get a Rivo. The bolder coffees work very well to do this with.

I used to drink my coffee with sugar and cream. This coffee doesn't need any of that and makes a perfect cup of black coffee. I love the K-cups. When I was brewing the coffee pot way, I fixed the coffee the same every time but you never knew what you would get. The k-cups are the same perfect coffee every time.

I buy these in bulk from my local buying club, and keep that box in the car so I can take 3-4 in to work each day. We have a Keurig in the break room, and I brew on the least-water setting. Black is how I take mine, just the way God intended coffee to be. ;-) Some days, I'll give a cup to a friend when they comment on the great aroma, and usually win a convert.

This is my "morning coffee ritual-can't get through the day without it" coffee. It has gotten to the point where I won't even drink the drip-coffee at the office because it doesn't compare! As soon as I can convince my husband to buy me a mini-keurig for my office, I'll have a box of Newman's Own Extra Bold right at my desk for those mid-afternoon coffee breaks.
