As this was literally my first K-cup on a machine received as a Xmas gift, expectations were high. After running a full water reservoir thru with no coffee to clear the manufacture process, the Newman's Extra Bold was chosen and did not disappoint, would have made Paul proud! Great mouth feel, minuscule initial bitterness on the palate, just for a split second and then the balance of acidity and bold coffee flavours take over.

This coffee is good, but not great. I received about 10-15 of these cups in a variety box and now I'm stuck with them. Even though it says it's an "extra bold" coffee, I do not think it's very bold at all. Slightly acidic as well. Smells strong and bold, but does not taste bold.

I've tried the Coffee People Organic coffee and it was the WORST EVER! Then I decided to try this one since it had good reviews. I was skeptical about trying it because it's "organic". The coffee smell isn't really pleasant and it has a weird aftertaste kind of bitterness to it even after adding Coffemate French Vanilla. It was A LOT better than the Coffee People Organic Coffee. At least this one I can drink and finish off. A little better than what I had expected but not something I would drink again. Definitely a bold cup of coffee.

I have tried alot of blends and always finish the box even if they are not that good for the sake of not wasting. This one however, I threw away. It has a bad aftertaste and leaves a hollow feeling in your stomach. Caused bad indigestion on several occasions.

First and foremost, to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee as good as this, and be able to know that a large portion of what you paid for it goes toward "hole in the wall gang" started by Paul Newman, for kids with terminal illness. That in itself is just as heartwarming as the first sip!

this coffee has been my best experience of all coffees. Anytime of of day or night, its the perfect K-cup each time. Amazing how the taste is perfect at 4oz, 6oz, or 8oz. When I run out, no substitute compares. This coffee is addictive for its organic flavor. Bold but smooth....how do you do that!

I LOVED the original version of this, the one that had the dark reddish brown package lid. Recently they changed the lid color to this mustard yellow. Actually what they did was reverse the colors on the lid. When they did this they also changed the blend inside. It went from my go to coffee, always having it on hand, to pitching what I had left. I tried to like this. I thought something changed with my taster but my husband doesn't like this version either. This blend has a bitter bite to it that leaves an aftertaste. I'm still looking for my perfect go to coffee.

I am not a one-coffee kind of a guy. Sometimes I like a dark roast, sometimes a flavored coffee, but not all the time. I can drink this coffee all day long. It's satisfying and flavorful without being overpowering. I keep buying this one over and over.

I agree - sadly - with the reviewers who've noticed that the blend has changed from something special to something less than ordinary and yes, it seemed to coincide with the change in packaging. From buying the 80-piece packages as my "Go to" daily coffee, I've taken it off my list.

We love the flavor of this coffee but, we have been experiencing our cup over flowing with grounds! I took my keurig back after 3 months and exchanged for a new one thinking the Keurig 2.0 was the issue. WRONG! We are still experiencing 6 out of 8 cups have no coffee grounds! This is time consuming when you have to pull everything out and clean the grounds off before trying to fix another cup of coffee.Please advise....thank you!
