I have tried a large number of the 'bold' coffees, and this one is definitely in the bottom half of the samples I have tried. If you're looking for a bold coffee, you should try others. Personally two that I think are much better than Newman's Bold are Emeril's bold and Gloria Jean's Black Gold.

Tried others, happy to have found this coffee. I really look forward to that first cup in the morning and the second is just as good. I like coffee with a strong coffee taste but most times you get that bitter flavor with it, not with this coffee, bold but not bitter. Buy it by the 80 cup case.

I used to LOVE this coffee! It was rich and bold and so smooth. I had stopped trying/buying other brands. Something happened when they changed the label. I's bitter and weak compared to the old blend. Other reviewers are saying the company says nothing has changed, but the taste sure has. I have to start all over, trying to find something comparable. If you're going to try it, or you're just now re-ordering from the yellow label, get a small box. I had to drink four boxes of this bitter stuff. Please bring back the old, and make an announcement when you do!

I probably never would have given the Newman's Own K-Cup a second glance if it hadn't been included in the sampler pack that came with my brewer, but it ended up being one of my favorites. The flavor and body are exactly what I expect from a cup of coffee, and the roast suits my taste perfectly - on the dark side, but without being charred beyond recognition. This is definitely going to be one of my stand-by K-Cup choices.

As with Donut Shop Bold, I've been drinking Newman's Extra Bold now for about a year and a half. I think Newman's Extra Bold is so much better, but it's not for everyone. It tastes stronger and seems to be a little thicker. It has a different, but I think, more complex taste. Good stuff!

Each person has their own tastes, so it's always best to try for yourself, if I had read some of these reviews before I tried this coffee, I may have passed over it. Since that wasn't the case, I tried it and it is one of my go to coffees, if I am not experimenting with other pods and just want a great cup of coffee. On my 2.0, I do this one 12 oz. Strong.

We were very pleased with this coffee when it had the yellow label. Could not drink enough. Packaging went from yellow to red and so did the flavor. It is soooooo bitter. Too much acid. Cannot stand to drink it now. Bye Bye to Newman's unless they go back to the original flavor

This is one of my favorites that I received in the sample pack with the Keurig Special Edition as a gift. I drink it just about every morning for a quick pick-me-up, and sometimes I'll add a little hot cocoa mix for that added "cafe mocha" flavor - extra yummy! If you like really bold flavor in a coffee, this is the one for you. This brand will definitely be a part of my food storage rotation.

I'll wake up in the morning before my classes, and zombie my way to the kitchen and turn on my Keurig and pop one of these little bad boys in there. I sit on the counter and watch it brew, and bask in the amazing aroma. I wait until it cools just a tad, and drink it black and it's quite good. It provides just the right amount of kick-start I need. Sometimes, I'll brew more than I would drink, and leave half of it, so when I come back from the morning classes I drink the rest, and head out to my afternoon classes. One cup a day is all I need.

This is coffee at its best. I love the fact that it is organic, that there have been conscious efforts to care for the health of the consumer, the environment, and still allow folks to make a living. The bonus to all of the above is the coffee is about as perfect as coffee can get. It's a coffee that you won't get tired of. While I'm not easy to please, I am totally pleased with this coffee.
