I LOVE Creami's I have the five choice machine that I've had for 2 years and when I saw the seven recipe one at Sam's on sale I splurged and bought it. I love being able to make Dole Whips in a variety of flavors as I buy the Dole whip powder online. I also love making a guacamole type creami in the summer it is so refreshing I just cut up three to four avocados depending on the size and the little cubes, then I add a couple of tablespoons of sour cream and then I'll add some salsa. We blend it on the soft ice cream speed and after we've spun it we will add some fresh cilantro and do it on a remix. There's a Facebook page that is from a website called tasty traveler and there must be hundreds of different ideas and recipes posted there. And for those of you who have wear the gear has broken or shared itself major reason that happens is one that there was too much water base in the creamy container, or that the chunks of fruit etc were too large, that even though below the line if the mixture is slanted that can cause the blades to shave also when they say that it your freezer should be it seven below or seven degrees, all the people on the Facebook page and I will tell you that get your product out of the freezer and let it sit for maybe 20 minutes on your counter or put some warm water around your container of course with the lid on and do that cuz that your freezer is just too hard but ninja is pretty good at helping people I have not had a problem with my original machine and it's over 2 years old and I expect years of use with the one I have now also I think Walmart has some of the empty containers for for I think it was $17. First batch was excellent made with a protein shake and pudding mix. Second one was grainy like sand made with frozen fruit—even after remix. Third one the same as the first and the machine clunked to a stop after 20 seconds and started smoking. Paddle was scorched and metal shavings were left in the frozen pint. Lasted less than an hour.

It works well, and makes very good ice creams (if YOU have a good recipe!) Tons of recipes online! I got it to make sugar free and dairy free ice creams and sorbets, so we could have healthier food choices, and it is great for that! It takes more sweetener when frozen, but you learn and adjust accordingly. Downsides; small 1pint containers (you can buy more than the 3 it included), using another device to blend recipe before freezing(it's not as all-in-one as I thought), and lastly, having to plan a day ahead for it. Sometimes you just feel like a coffee ice cream, but if it's not already in the freezer...oh well. Which reminds me...I need to go make some more! 😉

This thing is powerful and it produces amazing sorbets, gelatos, ice creams, etc... I feel like a pro chef making custom desserts like these at home. Everything from complicated custards to single-ingredient sorbets taste incredible in this machine and have a really "professional" finish. You need to freeze your pints 24 hours in advance, so you don't really run the risk of impulsively making ice cream every day and gaining 100lbs, which is good for me. I have loved memorizing the included base recipes for each type of dessert and then messing around with different extracts and flavorings--experimentation has been very forgiving and fun. If you're into weird single-application appliances and spend your free time around the kitchen for fun, then you'll love this machine.

I ordered this online. Received it , opened it and product was just sitting in box no cardboard nothing. So I knew this had been a return. I wanted to exchange it at store of course they were out. The lady behind the counter tells me since I ordered online there was nothing they could do about it. So disappointed!

I bought this because I am ice cream obsessed. Now that I own a Creami I have made several different high protein versions of my favorite flavors and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I purchased my Creami while on sale for $120 and if you eat as much ice cream as I do (2-3 pints/week) the machine pays for itself within 6 months versus buying pints of Halo Top ice cream.

So far we have really liked this. We are making up our own lower cal recipes. I would like more recipes in the book for that. The only draw back is that you have to crave ice cream tomorrow to give it time to freeze. I also wonder about cleaning the shaft that goes down into the mix. No instructions for that. If you get the right recipe, it can taste like the stuff you used to churn with ice and rock salt without all the hassle.

Broke after about 8 uses ... I always follow the instruction manual and have the container filled at or below the "max fill" line. Tonight, the machine made a crazy noise at the beginning of the spin cycle and then everything seemed OK. But when I was eating the ice cream, I noticed little flecks of something in it. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was TINY SHARDS OF METAL. I cannot believe I had at least 3 bites before realizing it and am pretty sure I ate specs of metal. When I went to look at the machine, I saw that the blade on the lid had tread that was partially shaved down and a huge cut into the base. I don't have the slightest clue how bits from that made it into the ice cream since the gears are on the outside of the lid. I am mortified. I just registered the product and will be praying that their warranty will cover it. With only 8 uses, at $177 with tax, we're looking at $22 per pint NOT including ingredients.

Love it! We have made so many things with this already. My son is a type 1 diabetic and has found a lot of recipes that are low carb high protein that he can enjoy. My husband love lemon sorbet. It is so much cheaper than buying ice cream pints at the grocery store.

I purchased this for my one son for his birthday. It was such a hit! My kids watch what they eat and many go to the gym daily. This creamy lets them make treats that are healthy and without preservatives. He became very good at mixing mint and chocolate chips with low-fat milk and then altering the recipe. My other kids heard about his "adventures." I bought them each one when it was on sale for their families. Birthdays are done for the year and everyone is happy and healthy!
