A few things I would like to point out: 1. This thing comes with heavy duty hardware (probably heavier than it needs to be). I would rather we go bigger than risk not having enough so I was happy to see that. 2. The instructions are pretty darn solid. There are a few parts where the picture looks like it is mounted on the other side of something just because of the way the 3d image is laid out so you have to be careful with that. There was only a few steps where I had this problem and figured it out later when I noticed something was missing and just looked back at the step and moved it. There was also a few places where I put something on backwards meaning the other holes on the board did not line up so you have to make sure you are looking at the picture good to see where the other holes should face. I did that a few times too and simply flipped the board back around or drilled new holes. Overall, I was very impressed with the instructions and the few issues I had were my own fault for not paying close enough attention. 3. This thing does not come weather treated so you will need to do that up front.. The good thing about this is you can pick the color you want. 4. I stained and built this thing in 32 hours by myself. I am not a carpenter but I consider myself a pretty handy guy and have put a lot of things together using instructions. If you know how to use tools and you can follow instructions, you should be good to go. I called a few places and they wanted around $600 to install it. At 32 hours, that would be $18.75 an hour. So I guess it depends on how much you make, how much your time is worth, and how much you enjoy doing these types of projects. I have a tent setup with tables and all of my tools and parts were setup....with a radio and some beer...it was good times. 5. This thing is bigger than it looks. The house part of it, I can literally stand straight up in it and it feels roomy. I am 6' tall so the peak of the house is probably 7' and the bay windows actually add room too and provide a little ledge that you can sit stuff on. Overall i am very happy with this purchase. We are going to be the envy of the neighborhood and I have two girls so we are going to "girly it up" with some flowers and curtains and stuff :-)

I chose this swingset because it has a glider, a 5 ft deck and a swing beam higher than 7'. My kids love playing on it and even my 10 year old will play pirate with his little sisters because the crows nest is pretty awesome. The slide feels flimsy but its fun and does not get hot in the sun. The monkey bars are set a bit high, but the kids do not seem to be deterred. My only disappointment is that the swings are set too close together and the kids have bumped on occasion, which lessens the fun of the set. An extra few inches would have made a world of a difference.

So this thing is a serious playground. it's great my kids love it but boy let me tell you about the setup! It took me and one other person two weekends and me working on the side pieces during the week to finally get it complete I strongly suggest sorting out all of the bolts and screws and nuts in numeric order on a table and using the lids of the wood boxes to sort all the different pieces if you like Puzzles this assembly is definitely for you it was fairly simple I strongly suggest downloading the bilt app this app was a lifesaver instructions were pretty simple so follow it's just a lot of manual labor most of the wood pieces were pretty good condition but quite a few were chipped or warped but in the end all the hard work was worth it endless hours of entertainment!

I purchased the product mid April for my daughter's birthday. Once the product arrived I began to open the box to inspect the swing set. At first glance I notice that one of the main swing beams and a support brace had been slightly damaged but wasn't worth me replacing it. After sorting out the pieces I realized that there was 9 pieces missing. These missing pieces prevented us from being able to assemble the product. After calling the company to have the pieces shipped they informed me it would be an additional 10 days before we received the missing pieces. In the mean time I had to keep the wood out of the weather to prevent any warping of the wood. Not exactly what I had in mind when purchasing the product. We finally have the swing/play set assembled; 21 days after placing the order. We felt that some pieces of wood did not seem very strong or durable as the previous wooden swing set we bought 8 yrs ago. When placing the wooden screws with an electric drill you will want to do this with some caution because the wood is easy to splinter. My husband and I will be shocked if the swing set holds up for 5 yrs.

This was assembled by my brother in law who has years of experience so it wasn't hard for him to figure out. One of the pages was missing from the instructions and we searched for it online through Sams club website. The ladder did not fasten to the fort well. The screws had to be replaced with longer ones. The bracket for fastening the swing bar to the fort, was difficult to install, we used a mallet to assist with that. The screws do strip easy, have some backups in case. The kids enjoy it, we fastened a net on the monkey bars as small children could fall on their way to the slide. Something that could be included in the package but didn't.

They playground is great once all put together, but my husband believes it came in too many pieces! And some of the wood was splitting while putting together, but they managed to save it before it spilt all the way. Over all a great size for our children.

We bought this play set for our children last year. They love it! It was a lot of peices to put together but with 2 men who are skilled and a wife reading directions we were able to put it together in 1 very long day. we sprayed it with a protectant and there is a little discoloration after a year but over all we are very happy with this purchase. We separated all the peices and layed them out so all the like peices would be together. I highly recommend that you do this because there is a lot. It helps keep it organized and you aren't search for hours for a lost peice.

Great App instructions. I put it together by myself and had 0 problems. If your capable and strong then you don't need 2 people but it would help to speed it up. Pay close attention to pre drilled holes or else you'll be redoing steps. My kids love it. Great playset!

The instructions were very difficult to understand. Some bolts and screws were missing,which made it hard to put together,tried to conceal the ones I had to substitute. One board had no number on it at all. Took me 2 1/2 days to put together,had wife & daughter helping part of the time. I am 71,it would probably been worth the money to have it installed. It is beautiful now that it is done,the grandkids love it!

I bought this set earlier last year and it has been a wonderful edition not only to our backyard, but as a facilitating activity location for the kids. This playset is great during all kinds of weather and can make for a great time getting some exercise with the kids. It was fun and a little challenging to put together ourselves, but that was to be expected. Overall, a great purchase to consider!!
