Worth the cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great, durable purchase! It took my husband about a week to completely finish it on his own, while working on other things at home too. The materials are of good quality, and the finished product is beautiful! We had one board on the climbing wall split while adding the hand holds. My husband was able to cut a board to fit. The color doesn’t match, but the kids don’t mind. I have kids ranging from teenagers to toddlers, and they have all been on the play set at some point or another. It’s definitely sturdy enough to hold older kids, although I don’t let them swing on it like they would on a structure at the park. My big kids can sit on the swings, climb in the fort, and use the monkey bars without it feeling rickety. I’m glad we went with this brand and spent the extra money. It was well worth it!

Worth every penny!

We saved up for this purchase, knowing for about a year this was the model we wanted. It took my husband two days to assemble by himself, with some help from me (mostly just holding things up). Thankfully everything came labelled and we set everything out so we could see each piece. The instructions were easy to follow. The actual playset itself is great! There are so many activities that can be done - climbing, swinging, sliding, playing in the sand, having lunch on the little picnic table, playing in the fort...my kids are constantly finding new ways to enjoy it - the newest being the creation of an obstacle course starting at one end and working their way to the other. Another nice feature is that we were able to remove the 2 seater swing attachment and in its place, put a baby swing. Now all three girls from ages 1 to 11 are enjoying it!

Skyfort

This is a great product. It IS a lot of work to build...but not as bad as some say. Mostly myself, with my dad twice for about 6 hours total, and me alone about 18...so 24ish (with kids bugging me!). LAY OUT ALL BOARDS, categorize, and inventory all things first. SAVES you time...only takes about 2 hours (i used garage floor). You will have TONS of extra hardward, seems they pack 1 way for all their sets. Most boards are great, some are crooked/cracked, and they do splinter...leading to my 4* quality review...but its fairly minimal, and looks great, sturdy, fun, and kids love it. TIPS: Have a drill/screwgun with power or multiple power packs. You need 3/8 and 3/16 drill bits, 1/2 in hex heads and phillips screwdriver all the time! Dont overtighten hex bolts. Some boards may need holes moved/cut if you're not totally square or if alignment off. Window switch could be done, I didnt' b/c I forgot! MAKE SURE right side swing beam is level or you won't get that bolt in! READ AND RE-READ instructions...they're ok, but do NOT clearly spell out which way to turn boards or what side is up/down left/right. You can easily install a piece wrong and find out too late! LOOK AHEAD to see where other holes go and line-up... COOL set though...worth the $$ and effort.

super happy

overall really impressed. stained it and put together in a few days with a helper. Sturdy as heck and kids love it. Bought the child swing seat too and was a great choice. Tons of extra screws at the end but everything is solid as can be. Slide is super fast for a 2 year old

goes together well and is built to lasst

Bought this last year. It is important to follow the instructions during assembly. Assembly is easier if the parts are sorted. The wood is quality wood. All pieces lined up without drilling new holes. It endured the winter well and still looks as good as it did when first assembled. Grandkids love it. An adult can climb around on it and even slide down the slide, but I would slide gently.

Loads of fun

I ordered this online during cyber sale in November and we got it put together just in time for Christmas for my grandchildren. Great product, great instructions, and a strong sturdy playground. The telescope on the top didn't stay on but that is not a negative-we love this playground

Great play set

This is such a cute set. Looks great in the back yard. It sure is big though so don't underestimate the size. We were missing some parts and had some damaged boards but the customer service could not have been better. They were shipped and at my door in 2 days. It did take a while to put together and the four boxes of wood is a little overwhelming but once you get organized it all goes up with ease. The boys love it and their friends too. Would highly recommend. The only negative is that it says ages 3-10. Some areas are quite small for a kid much bigger than 8. Not a big deal. I anticipate that they will get lots of use out of it anyway.

Good build, kids love it

We assembled it ourselves: 2 teams of 1 adult +1 8yo. Took 3 days of dedicated work, about 17-20 hours total. It was very much like putting together a big Lego set. The wood is cedar-scented pine, but sturdy, and I've got no complaints there. A few build tips: It took 2 hours to organize and lay out the pieces, but it was well worth it, as we were able to send the kids to fetch the wood parts for each step. Use one drill per team. We also unstapled the instructions and 3-hole punched them so we could split up and work concurrently on different parts. Finally, pay attention to the details, as you can easily put a board in the wrong way, and now your pre-drilled holes for another step later are in the wrong place.

Outstanding purchase!

We bought our set last summer. It took a full day to put together, but the hardware and and pre-drilled holes made it a smooth process. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The kids love it and we have had no issues at all. Great quality and durability, plus it looks really nice in the backyard. Two of our neighbors have since purchased the same set after we recommended it. One had some damage from a wind storm and the company shipped them replacement parts quickly and free of charge. You can’t beat that customer service.

Excellent product at an excellent price!!!!!

I have to tell you that this took awhile to put together by myself, but when it was finished it was well worth it. The directions were very simple to understand and it helped having the boards and bags properly labeled. The quality is good and it looks professional. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a playset.
