Our granddaughter is really happy with this swing set. Really nice for the price. A couple of things...Lay all the pieces out in order. I did some of that, but I still spent more time looking for parts than putting it together. The wood is very soft, so be careful to not over tighten. You'll never know it. Also, if you really want to take the time, I would recommend putting a good stain/sealer on it prior to putting it together. All they do is put on a cheap water stain that will wash off pretty quickly. They also have an excellent customer service department. I called with a couple minor issues and they took care of them right away. No hassle. I assembled this by my self working 2 to 4 hours a day (Texas heat), in 4 days. It is pretty simple.

We haven't finished the assembly yet. Two of us have worked for over 20 hours so far. We beleive we can finish it in another five hours. The assembly details in the illustrations are not always easy to understand resulting in boards being put in the wrong position. There are some parts missing and damaged. Overall we pleased with the play set.

Erected this for a neighbor. Engineered better than expected. Instructions perfect. Wood is relatively soft pine (my only real concern) and stain is very thin. We put one to two coats of poly on all wood surfaces for protection. Will see how long that lasts. Definitely need two folks to erect. My wife gathered wood pieces and hardware and I put together. Worked well as a team. I suggest to Organize wood pieces and hardware to speeds things up otherwise finding takes as much time as erecting pay close attention to orientation of some pieces or you’ll be backtracking Kids love it. The yard was not level so some treated lumber was necessary. Hold downs that screw into the ground are a bear. We put a bolt thru top and used a water meter wrench so we could bear down and screw in the ground at same time or it wasn’t happening just spinning in the dirt without screwing down

I read a lot of reviews before choosing this swingset. I am so glad I waited for it to come back in stock. My son is 3 and loves everything about it. He plays on it for hours and love eating snacks at the picnic table. Assembly wasn’t bad. It did take about 20 hours total. We sorted all the pieces and put the hardware in numerical order. It helped to have one person in charge of getting the next step ready. The wood was all in good condition. We had a few spots that the stain was rubbed off and needed a touch up but the customer service has been amazing. We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend to everyone.

Bought this a week ago for my twins 5 bday (Dec 2018). Its really nice but two things. I dont like that the bumpy slide is clanky and seems to be popping towards the end. Also when girls swing on the main 2 swings, the wooden 2 x 4s is making a rubbing sound. Gor $1,500 I guess I was expecting community playground quality swingsets. But the really love the dual swing!

We hired 2 builders to install this for us -- and they agreed that the intimidating number of pieces and hardware told the whole story: it was a beast to put together!! But it's a pretty thing, sturdy enough, with simple and lower-level fun for younger kids, high monkey bars and crow's nest for older kids -- really nice combo. Contrary to what some others have said, the monkey bars are at a great height (NOT too high), even for our 5yo (this is how they LEARN to drop safely!). We'll probably replace the wavy slide soon -- a straight slide gives a faster (and more comfortable!) run -- but it's certainly functional as is. The set needs 100% level site; no leeway in the setup. I took off one star because of two quite notable things: 1. Like so many other swingsets these days (!), the swing beam is WAY too short, putting the swings (or whatever apparatus you hang) WAY too close together; collisions guaranteed over age 5. We'll be removing the middle swing when older kids are really flying on it. 2. The wood is NOT a real cedar (Northern White cedar); it is a cypress, as is its cousin, our Western Red "cedar." It is, nonetheless, durable and naturally resistant to insects, fungus, and rot; not particularly hard -- but a good product. It is used virtually everywhere now because the tree matures VERY quickly--quick growth = quick profit, etc. All in all, it's a good set, if a little pricey. Definitely has something for everyone, all components seem trustworthy, and virtually every area is visible to a nearby adult -- and, oh, the shady picnic table underneath is excellent. --Me plus 2, 5, & 7yo grandkids.

Has everything we wanted in a set- monkey bars, swings, slide, sandbox, climbing wall. It is more bang for your buck than many of the other outdoor play sets. The quality is certainly less (flimsier slide) than the more expensive sets, but it’s certainly solid enough.

This is a very nice play set. The directions lack a little on detail and you need at the very least two people. Not so much that anything is heavy but just to help keep parts coming and double checking your placement. Trust me there are a LOT of parts. If you have someone to keep the sections in order and ready when needed the project goes a lot faster, but still plan for two FULL days at a minimum.

Bought this a couple weeks ago for my son’s birthday. It came packaged well and the delivery drivers were very nice. After unpacking all the boxes, it ended up taking me and my very handy husband 2 1/2 full days to set it up. I mostly read the directions and passed the wood and the screws and he did the rest. The kids love it, I have even caught my 15 year old climbing on it. Side note though: pay attention to all notes about which direction the pilot holes are facing. We found that out about halfway through and could have shaved 1/2 day off the build.

Overall impression is very satisfied, no issues during the setup (ensure all pieces are not damaged and if so, contact support asap…took a week exactly to get the replacement piece…customer service was great). Took about 24 hours to put together, directions were spot on. Tested all swings out and monkey bars…works like a charm. Sealing the wood took some time but overall very satisfied and the kids love it. Key tips…lay out all bolts in numeric order and categorize would by letter for ease during setup. Would recommend buying the spray paint sealer, goes on faster and less work overall.
