I built this thing by myself. Went together quite well. The kids love it. Took about 20 hours. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is the slide. The one that comes with it is a piece of junk. The plastic was warped when I opened the box, which leads to the plastic insert unseating itself every so often.

After looking at other reviews concerning this Skyfort ll Play Set, I followed the lead of a very detailed and lengthy review with step by step instructions. This is a credit to my success with assembling this set. It took about 23 hours of actual assembly time, not including parts inventory. We assembled and built the Skyfort ll off site under a shelter and set the unit in its' final place with a front end loader. Then, all we had to do then is attach all the accessories assembled prior. Kids are having a ball with this unit! GET YOU ONE!

Erected this for a neighbor. Engineered better than expected. Instructions perfect. Wood is relatively soft pine (my only real concern) and stain is very thin. We put one to two coats of poly on all wood surfaces for protection. Will see how long that lasts. Definitely need two folks to erect. My wife gathered wood pieces and hardware and I put together. Worked well as a team. I suggest to Organize wood pieces and hardware to speeds things up otherwise finding takes as much time as erecting pay close attention to orientation of some pieces or you’ll be backtracking Kids love it. The yard was not level so some treated lumber was necessary. Hold downs that screw into the ground are a bear. We put a bolt thru top and used a water meter wrench so we could bear down and screw in the ground at same time or it wasn’t happening just spinning in the dirt without screwing down

I purchased this when they had a one day sale so assembly was included so that is why we got this one. I am not really impressed with the slide, it is a piece of plastic unrolled and fixed on a frame, not really liking the glider, it is a cheap on as well. But other than that seems good.

We got this as one of the big Christmas gifts for our younger kids. It takes a long time to sort things out and actually get started but it’s worth it. It’s great quality and has a lot of reinforcements. I would definitely recommend this product! Worth every penny.

The swings are so close together only one kid can swing at a time. It is ridiculous. It is not as advertised. There is the 2 person swing snf 2 regular swings. And when your on the 2 person swing you still hit the middle swing. It is dangerous. This is why i only gave it a the rating I did. And the telescope isn't even a magnifying. It is just a looking glass.

The best part was my son has to put it together, not me. He did it little by little all by himself for a total of approximately 28 hours. He used the instructions available on the play set website and it all went smooth. So, there is an overjoyed 6 year old boy (loves the monkey bars) and 2 year old girl loving their "park" in their own backyard.

Awesome swing set. My sons love it; they are 5 and 4 yrs old. Since I am working full time, I spent less than 4 hours for 5 days and 2 full days weekend to complete it by myself. It's not too hard to build. I agree with someone mentioned that wood is little bit cheap quality, and swings are pretty close each other. Also, you can purchase sand for the sand box. Kids spend their time all day with the swing set. So far, I am extremely satisfied with the purchase.

This playset is the perfect size for my 14 to and my 6 yo to be able to play on. Not too small. Only problem we have come across is that the slide isnt the best quality. The part they slide on gets screwed into the sides and there are plastic flimsy rods for support. With wear and tear, this will be the first thing we will have to replace. Would prefer a solid plastic slide for quality. Other than that, the kids love it.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the materials and have a feeling the boards wont last long. The slide is so flimsy that the metal part under your butt will bend and pop as the kids go down. Best for small kids under 80lbs. Also, the instruction manuel just have photo diagrams but no written instructions along with the diagrams. I guess most men don't like to ready instruction (sort of like how they don't like to ask for directions).
