The process of getting the playset to our home was great. However; the company that came to install (GoConfigure). Was AWFUL! They had quoted us one price and since the men did not get it done in one day, which they said they would. They called and demanded I pay another $220. If I didn't they would unassembled the entire set. UGH!! I told the men over the phone what playset they would be installing and everything. When we checked out on the SAMS website we chose playset, not swingset since that is what the product description stated. We are very unhappy.

We researched many playsets and this one came up as the most afforable and kid friendly. The wood looks sharp abd the play area is big. We thought the online pictures were photo cropped to make it look bigger, but after installed it was large. We hired some guys to come put it together and they did it in about 10 hours. Our kids like it a lot and we would buy again.

Once it was finally assembled we love the skyfort. However there were some missing bolts, some faulty bolts my husband had to replace and the stain was still wet when we opened the box. This was an issue identifing the part numbers. It was delivered a week earlier than expected so unsure if this had something to do with it.

Overall very satisfied. Took about 20 total hours to put together including leveling and putting the hold-down stakes in the ground. Happy to report all the pieces were there which somewhat amazed me given the number of pieces of wood and hardware required to assemble. A couple of minor errors in the instructions. There were some slight differences between the color photo and the actual set. Color photo on instructions showed a small window on the gable in the front but instructions had it installed in back.

This Skyfort is wonderful and quite solid. This 68-year-old grandma put it together with only a little help. It took me a week though. I finished it on Saturday, and my 3 and 6-year-old grandchildren loved it. Their joy was short lived, though, because a massive storm with high winds swept through Dallas on Sunday and uprooted a huge tree that fell on the entire playhouse and crushed it. It was completed less than 24 hours. All of us are devastated but grateful that the Skyfort kept the tree from landing on the house. My children and grandchildren are safe, albeit without gas and electricity for probably several days. This is hard to explain to two little ones. I’m not sure what we’ll do next. Even if I can figure out how to buy this playhouse again, I don’t live in Dallas and don’t know when I could put another one together. Maybe we’ll figure it out. Two crying grandchildren are rather motivating. Thanks also for the BILT interactive software. I loved it. It made assembly so much easier.

We bought this back in October. It arrived in the promised time allotment with all the parts! It took about 48 hours for one grandpa to assemble (that would be 5 days!), but the instructions were sufficient. The grandkids (ours and the neighbors), ages 2-10, seem to love it, and it has the appropriate safety precautions. An excellent product and a labor of love and anti-inflammatory medications.

We love it…. and best of all, My kids LOVE their playground. It took about three days the build, with a lot of extra help, but everything was very well labeled and the directions were easy to follow. We would highly suggest this company and their products. This playground is very sturdy and great for both my 4 year old and 8 year old.

The stack of very large boxes that sat in my driveway was quite daunting. However, even though the Bilt app was at my disposal, I found putting the Skyfort II together was less difficult than expected using just the assembly instruction manual. It took me, mainly by myself (I enlisted muscle when necessary) about 10 days to assemble. I had to work in short intervals because I'm susceptible to heat stroke. I say this only to show how this project can be completed with little help and at your own pace. I recommend you enlist as much help as you can, just make sure your help can follow directions. One part assembled incorrectly can make a huge difference. Trust me. Everything from delivery to completion went smoothly. Delivered when expected, no damaged/missing parts, easy-to-follow instructions - all made my experience fun. I'll update to attest for its durability. Enjoy!

After reading all the reviews on here it helped a ton putting it together. I never review anything, but I will start now. The swing set is perfect when it’s put together, but it does take some time. Read all the reviews and you’ll know all the hang ups. When you’re confused, take a look at the picture and it will usually help. I got turned around a couple times and had to take some items apart, but it was minimal. I think the biggest suggestion I can give you is to spend the time sorting everything when you get it. I was missing the one inch wood screws and the telescope was smashed. Customer Service took my call and they were delivered the next day. Make sure you have a lot of room to lay the wood out, it’s amazing how many pieces this thing actually comes in. I sorted everything in alphabetical order and numeric order. Finding boards was easy. I would also suggest putting all the bags of Fasteners in large containers. I just put them in large zip lock bags, but plastic containers would work well. I received it on a Thursday and started that night after work. With the use of a spotlight I was able to work for about 4 hours on Thursday and Friday. My wife helped maybe 1-2 hours a night after the kids went to bed. Then on Saturday I was up and started by 7am and worked until 11pm. I did have help from 10am until 4pm. So all and all it took me about 23-25 hours with I would say 8-9 hours of help from another person. 6 hours with another handy male and about 3 with my wife. I really wanted it done by Sunday am so I was working pretty hard with minimum breaks, but overall I think it goes together pretty straight forward. Read the directions carefully and print more than one set if you have help. My 2.5 daughter loves it! Good luck…
