I'd been told to spend your money where you spend your time. Buy comfortable shoes if you spend your day on your feet. Buy a good chair if you spend your day at a desk. And definitely, buy a good mattress 'cause you'll spend a third of your life in it. I was really nervous about buying & sleeping on memory foam—I need a firm mattress or else I wake up feeling crooked and cranky. Nobody wants that. I sleep on a platform (or currently, with the mattress right on the floor). The Ghost definitely brings the firmness and I've been very pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the firmness has been. I've been sleeping soundly and waking without back pain for over a month now. I also tend “run hot” at night and was worried that, with foam, I'd be waking up drenched in sweat. Apparently, I needn't have worried about that. Lastly, I really can't recommend the Ghost pillows enough. They are also very comfortable, supporting, and cool through the night. They could, however, be a bit larger so that they actually fit a standard pillowcase. Does Nature's Sleep make a pillowcase that fits the Ghost pillow a bit more snugly? Send me a couple wouldya? ~DXW

This is the best mattress I have ever had. It is very comfortable and it does not transfer motion. It sleeps very cool I no longer wake up sweating I put off a lot of body heat. The only thing I wish it was a little more stomach sleeper friendly. Our backs do not hurt nearly as much as they use to but on night that we roll over on our stomach we both wake up a little stiff but it goes away with the first few minutes of moving around. I also order 2 pillows with our mattress those do not get used very often we both found them too soft for our comfort.

I've only been sleeping on the bed two weeks and find it comfortable until I sleep too long on my side and my shoulders hurt. I can't sleep on my stomach comfortably either since it's pretty firm, which I usually like. It would be great if you made a mattress pad with more substance than the one I purchased when I bought the mattress.

We have been sleeping on our new Ghost bed for 3 weeks and I will say it is pretty firm. We like a firm mattress so it's a good fit for us, the first few nights I was actually concerned it might be too firm! We went from a Tempur-pedic to the Ghost bed mattress so the change was pretty significant. It is a memory foam type mattress but very unlike most you will encounter. This mattress does give on your pressure points but overall it's super "supportive". We have not experienced any issues with temperature and are enjoying the new bed and have no complaints. If you are looking for plush I would not recommend this mattress, maybe try their Luxe mattress which states to be on the softer side. But if you are like us and prefer a supportive firm mattress I don't think you will regret trying this one out. I will update after a little more time if we have any changes. I will say the adjustable base is amazing, not sure how we ever lived without that feature!

I like this bed. I'm still getting used to it. I didn't sleep in it for a couple weeks while it was off-gassing. Smell is pretty much gone now after 1 month. Starting to have a few nights where I sleep straight through, which is great. Will write an update in a few months.

This mattress takes a very long time to get used to the heavier you are. If you weigh over 320 lbs and sleep on your side. This mattress takes just about 90 days to break in. Around the 60 day mark it actually gets better. If they offered a refund longer than 60 I would take it because the first 30 was horrible. Now it's actually better but still a little hard to sleep. You don't move a lot so being intimate is also troublesome since the weight is more than recommended.

The mattress is amazing. Its firm, but comfortable and I find myself sleeping way better. The purchase process was smooth, and the delivery was great. Assembly of the foundation was a bit of a pain, and the end product is terrible (its weak and falls apart easily). The mattress setup is quick and easy, and well worth it.

It took about a week to get used to, but after getting all the kinks out on how a proper mattress is supposed to feel like. Man... It has definitely been a game changer! I'm an "around the clock parent, husband and government employee, so after the day dwindles down and time lay my head to rest, this mattress along with the ghost bed pillow has been the answer to this test. Everytime I lay on the bed, it is extremely difficult to not just fall asleep instantaneously... Because that happens every.

Since switching to this mattress I have been experiencing much more back pain. It's been one month. First couple weeks were great, last two weeks I'm incredibly sore and uncomfortable when I wake up. Will give it another couple weeks but at this point, not likely to keep the mattress. It seems very comfortable when sitting and laying down but my neck and back are killing me.

I reviewed the many memory foam/gel mattress available and there are a lot. I decided to purchase Ghost as the reviews were positive. The main reason is because I get hot at night and this mattress is pretty good about keeping you cool and doesn’t keep your body heat. Customer service was excellent and they forgot to include the pillows and they shipped them right away after I alerted them. It was delivered within days of ordering and the set up was easy. I like the ghost mattress and would recommend it. It on the firm side.
