I’m a heavier guy at 6’2 and 240lbs. The bed started off very stiff but broke in about 2 weeks in. So far the latex layer is comfortable and gives just enough to allow myself to reach the memory foam layer. Good support up to this point! I will update if I run into any issues a few months in.

My daughter and son-in-law convinced me to buy a Ghost Bed telling me that it was the most comfortable that they've ever had. My son-in-law should know since he's had back surgery. I was skeptical that a bed that was rolled up and delivered to your home could be comfortable, but I'm glad I took the chance. I haven't had such a good sleep in a very long time. The pillows are fabulous, too. Absolutely no regrets here.

This was the first bed I have ever purchased that was brand new. All my previous mattresses were either hand me down or used. This is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on! I actually look forward to going to bed now. And I haven't had an episode of insomnia in two weeks. I don't know if Ghost Bed is the best bed, but it's certainly the greatest bed I've ever tried.

I can tell it's breaking in a bit, and getting a little more forgiving. It's firm and great for back sleeping, but I need a little more time before I'm enthusiastic about side sleeping. I do love how even it is after sleeping on a worn out innerspring for so long. I think I'll have to invest in a soft topper for side sleeping, and also to add some more air. This dense mattress does get warm. Overall, I'm happy with it, and am 85% sure it's a keeper.

I rate this a 4-star simply because I've never slept on an amazing mattress, so I can't compare it to a great one. As someone who has slept on very cheap spring mattresses since I made my way out of the cradle as a child, this is a fantastic mattress. Previously I would toss and turn all night and regardless of how many hours I slept I would still wake exhausted. Since purchasing a Ghost Bed mattress I barely move at all in my sleep and finally wake feeling rested after an average 8 hours sleep. I guess I should note that I am on the heavier side, so if you're thin or around an average weight your experience could be quite different.

This is our second ghost bed ever purchased. Our first we bought from a friend who had only had it for a year, was moving out of country, and couldn’t take it with them. We fell in love with it! So when we needed to replace another mattress in our home, GhostBed was the only option for us! I have severe back issues and Ghost Bed is the only foam mattress I have found that is firm enough to keep me from having back pain but still soft enough to be comfortable! GhostBed is the only mattress we will buy moving forward!

Ordering a mattress online seemed crazy to me at first. I did tons of research first and even contacted customer service to ask a bunch of questions. I was reassured that I would be satisfied and if I wasn't, there was no liability for me. Just contact them for a refund within 101 nights. It only took me one night to fall in love with my ghostbed though. I will NOT be returning it. My wife even loves it and that's what matters the most. This mattress has done away with the pain I used to wake up with every morning in my shoulder and hip. If you're having doubts, don't. You'll love it! Bryan Monroe, MI

I have been sleeping on a waterbed for the past 30 years. I recently began waking up with a sore lower back, and new it was time to make a change. Waterbeds always worked for me, and I felt very comfortable in them. Now that I'm in my 50's I guess I needed something with more support. After researching different mattresses I decided on the Ghostbed. The bed arrived quickly as well as the 3 Ghost pillows I received during the Memorial day sale. The first few nights on this mattress were not good. I could not get comfortable at all because it seemed very firm. I was just about ready to contact the company and return it, but I decided to give it a few more days. By the 7th night I noticed I was sleeping a little better, but still not what I expected. At the end of 2 weeks I did not mind it at all. I am now sleeping very well, probably better than I did on the waterbed. I don't wake up with back pain anymore and I feel better rested. If you decided to buy a ghostbed you really need to give it a few weeks before you give it a negative review. The Pillows were the same....Felt very stiff at first but I really love them now.

While this mattress is a lot better than what we were sleeping on. I am struggling with the firmness. If I sleep on my back I have no issues. However, if I sleep on my sides for a longer period of time my upper back and hips tends to hurt the next day. My husband has zero complaints as he is primarily a back sleeper where I often change positions. We do love that we can hardly feel eachothers movements throughout the night and sometimes I don't even get him get up in the morning. That rocks!

I wrote before and said the bed frame was as good as advertised The pillows are very nice. The mattress is lumpy and uncomfortable. It is worse then the old mattress I replaced. The sides are weak and I don't sit on it any longer then it takes to get in or out of bed. I am going to have to replace this one soon because it is doing what my old worn out mattress was doing causing pain in my back and legs because of all the lumps and no support for pressure spots.
