Plush is Soft. Maybe Medium is Better
Purchased King Plush Style. Wife is 130lbs and I am 200lbs. She is doing Well. I am feeling Sunk in already. Heavy Mattress. Overall Rate it a C. My hips when im on my back and side go in to far leaving my lower backside uncomfortable. I am 6ft tall so I'm not like im a huge guy. Unsure of this purchase. Maybe Medium would have been better.
Returning. Suffered lower back pain by 2nd night
When we set it up it felt like we were laying on something hard, so I unzipped the cover only to find that they had put the mattress in upside down, and we were laying on the coils. I hope that's not what they do for all mattresses. We flipped it over, and rezipped it, and initially it felt comfortable, but by 2nd & 3rd day my lower back was killing me. We will be returning this. I would not recommend to anyone that could suffer back pain.
mattress was lopsided, the latex pad was not centered on the springs. the cover was too big for the bed. i tried 2 beds with same results. Getting sams to pick up the beds was nor a pleasant experience. i would not recommend this bed. i dont understand why this bed was given great test result on a leading reporting service.

Great mattress
Love it
We're thrilled you love your new mattress, Carol! Thank you for the 5-star recommendation!
Firm was the right choice
This is my initial reaction; we chose the Queen Firm - I was worried about the firmness (specifically that the mattress would be way too soft). The rating scale of 1-10 seemed subjective (Medium was 5-6 & Firm was 7-8). Our old traditional mattress was called ‘Firm’ by Sealy and it felt like lying on a brick while sleeping even though there was a cushioned feel if you pushed down while standing next to the bed. My wife and I are in our 60’s and have developed shoulder pain recently from sleeping on that mattress. The Members Mark Hybrid ’Firm’ is perfect … stable but like a pillow-top topper that gives for comfort and support but gently firm below. In the box it was very heavy but unboxing was easy. The air rushed in quickly when vacuum seal was opened and it came into shape quick. Two of the corners aren’t perfect but it’s not a glaring defect - just a small folded and puckered spot. It’s going to be covered by sheets and blankets so it is a big non-issue. The cooling top is nice. I reasoned that we’ll spend 30% of our lives on this mattress so it will be worth the investment to be comfortable. If our sleep experience isn’t good then I’ll update my review but so far - I think this mattress and firmness choice will turn out to be perfect.
Thank you so much for sharing your initial impressions of the Queen Firm Member’s Mark Hybrid mattress. We’re thrilled to hear that it’s meeting your expectations so far—especially after your concerns about firmness and your past experience with overly hard mattresses.

It’s great to know that the balance of support and comfort is working well for both you and your wife, and that the mattress is helping to relieve the shoulder discomfort you previously experienced. We also appreciate your comments on the unboxing process and the cooling top—those details really help others understand what to expect.

Regarding the slightly puckered corners, we’re glad to hear it’s not a major issue for you, but if it ever becomes a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always here to help.

We hope the mattress continues to provide restful, rejuvenating sleep for years to come. And if you do have any updates down the line, we’d love to hear them!
Terrible quality
I've been trying to buy a mattress for 3 years. I've bought memory foam and I hate it due to it making my hips hurt and I sink so far down into the bed I have to climb out. I thought this would be a good choice as it's hybrid. No. I got it in a box all rolled up. Opened it and let it expand. I bought the ultra plush thinking it would be perfect. It has a zip cover on it and there was tons of slack like it was missing 1/4 of the mattress. The springs were sticking out really bad. I slept on it two nights and it caused horrendous back pain. I happened to have another 3inch memory foam mattress from a camper van I sold. I forced that mattress into the zip cover and I have salvaged it. No way was I going to try to return this as I would have probably had to haul it over an hour to my nearest Sam's Club. But it was NOT worth the over 400$ I spent on it. I do not recommend.
I love this bed! I was weary about buying a bed in a bag but decided to give it a whirl. I will never look back about buying a mattress from a bed store. I am pleasantly surprised with how easy and efficient it was to put up. I was able to sleep on it the same night, but it continued to firm up for the next 3 days or so. I bought the firm for my room while my husband bought the medium for his room. I had back surgery about 2 years ago and my old mattress was 11 years old. This is my first time buying a firm bed. Now, the firmness will be a perceived feeling, but it is like a hotel mattress. It conforms to the body but doesn’t sink in. It is perfect for me and supports my back and hips perfectly. The medium also feels supportive but it conforms a bit more to the body and has a bit more give in the mattress. I have no aches or pains on either bed but the firm is more supportive for me and better on my joints. My husband prefers the medium but likes the firm, too. It really is just a matter of preference. Overall, medium is a perfect bed but the firm is more supportive for my condition. I’m very pleased with my purchase
Comfortable and More Affordable
Choosing a mattress is a lot of work. We first decided what type of mattress we wanted. We tried out several options at furniture stores and Mattress Firm and realized that we wanted a Medium-Firm Hybrid with cooling layers on top. This Member's Mark mattress was the most affordable mattress that I could find that matched all of our requirements and it is a bonus that it is 14 inches. We bought the medium and we absolutely love it. It may be very similar to the Nectar Hybrid 14 inch. Great job Sam's Club! We hope that more Member's Mark products that are good quality like this one are available in the future. Thank you!
Hi Houston family -

We are pleased to hear that you are loving your new mattress! Thank you for your purchase :)
A bit too soft for a Medium. Just a heads up!
Wife and I bought the Medium version of this in store. This mattress feels like a plush and you sink in pretty deep while sitting. It is comfy while laying but a little to soft for us. We ended up ordering the Firm version online the next day. Will be returingin the Medium version once the other comes. Hopefully the Firm will serve us better.
Misleading Advertising, Poor Quality
We purchased this mattress in Decembrr 1st, specifically because Sam’s Club stated it would arrive before we left for a month-long vacation. That turned out to be completely false. When we realized the delivery would be late, we attempted to stop it, but Sam’s Club’s customer service was an absolute nightmare—outsourced to a call center where communication was difficult, and in the end, they were completely useless. No surprise there—Sam’s Club’s delivery service is notoriously bad. Major Sizing & Build Quality Issues When we finally set up the mattress in January, we immediately noticed serious problems. It’s not even a true king size—it’s 3 inches too short and 1.5 inches too narrow. On top of that, the coil springs were sticking out on the ends and sides, making it uncomfortable and even painful to get in and out of bed. It feels like they forgot to add the edge band, making this mattress look and feel cheap and poorly constructed. False Advertising – NOT a Tempur-Pedic Alternative Sam’s Club advertises this mattress as comparable to the Tempur-Pedic Adapt Hybrid ($3,200 retail price)—but that’s completely misleading. My wife and I went to test the real Tempur-Pedic in-store, and there is absolutely no comparison. The Sam’s Club mattress lacks the comfort, support, and durability of a high-quality mattress. It’s just a cheap knockoff designed to trick buyers into thinking they’re getting a premium product. Deceptive Business Claims Even worse, Sam’s Club’s ad claims this company has been in business for 140 years—but in reality, they’ve only been making mattresses for a few years. This is just another marketing gimmick meant to mislead consumers. Final Verdict: A Complete Waste of Money This mattress is low-quality, falsely advertised, and sold at a price that tricks people into thinking it’s high-end. Between the delivery issues, false claims, and poor construction, this has been a frustrating experience from start to finish. If you’re considering buying this mattress from Sam’s Club—DON’T. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.
