Great to have the photo feature on the skylight calendar. Great that it can sync with my other calendars. The app is clunky in adding the PDF and emails from the schools with dates. The years are off, sometimes adding years into the future or in the past. Had to manually delete the entries. Will try again and see.

We have a large family and unfortunately the multiple calendars are all on top of each other instead of side by side like google calendar does online. I called and they said they didnt have a feature to make it side by side. I would have been ok if they were overlapping if they were in the same order so it was easier to see visually, but sometimes my oldest kid is first and sometimes she is last. :(

We bought the Skylight frame to make it easy for us to see our daily family calendar, but the photo display feature is even better! We find that we’re looking at it all the time, enjoying the reminder of all the great times we’ve had. A great purchase!

I really enjoy it, there could be a couple things that would make it better such as I have two kids and they alternate some chores so somthing to do that would make it easier IE there are two lawns (front and back) and they alternate mowing every two weeks… so I had to make a chore for front kid 1 every 4 weeks and the back kid 1 every two weeks then the opposite the same with kid 2 so I had to make 4 chores and figure out how to make sure they alternated. Little things like that, that could be improved. We also alternate dishes and clean up as well so had to do the same for that.

My wife and I are mostly impressed with our Skylight calendar. But there’s a few bugs and some things that could be better from a user interface standpoint. For starters, the process to synch an apple calendar wasn’t quite as simple as the app led me to believe. I figured it out, but I had to take a bit of a back door yo do it. When it synched google calendars, it had an unusual categorical process that made it look like there was a bunch of junk. After deleting was appeared to be empty junk categories, my wife found that she had accidentally deleted one of her entire calendars and had to rebuild it completely. As far as the user interface goes, I’m not a fan of the fact that I cannot zoom out to a month or year view and then drill down to where I want. Instead, I have to just thumb through week by week. I also think it would be a great idea for it to light up and go dark based on light conditions of the room it’s in instead of based on time of day. Overall, we like it, and it makes our lives a little easier. But I wish they would have made some very simple, but useful improvements to the software.

Hello. I wanted to love this product. My wife is a fan. The functionality is just not that great, really. For example, it is nice to see the weather/temperature, but you can only see it at the exact moment you are looking at the frame. You cannot see what the entire day is going to be like, so I have to then go to my phone which I have been trying to get away from. Additionally, the website to use if you do not want to use the app on your phone is super confusing. I just want to see the calendar and manage via my laptop and it is not easy. Then the grocery list feature could be very useful if it had any sort of functionality to it besides being a simple list. Maybe it would be helpful to have categories or most purchased items to help the end user remember something they might need... Just some thoughts on your product. It is a great idea that you have come up with, but it can be so much better.

We love our skylight. It’s helped keep our family on the same page. I love the import feature of just sending a screenshot, or an actual invite and Skylight puts it right on the calendar! It helps my daughter be accountable for her chores which is music to Mom’s ears. I also appreciate that no one can say “Mom, when is the…? Check the Skylight!”

Game changer, we absolutely love it. It doesn’t make any sense, because I’ve got the same calendar on my phone- but for some reason checking it in the kitchen in the morning is kinda fun. We ended up doing the photos and it’s just awesome. The app is also well designed and super easy, definitely recommend.

I love the Skylight Calendar’s versatile functionality. It combines a family calendar, chore lists, meal plans, and photo display very elegantly and integrates our Apple calendar pretty well. The reason I took off 1 star is because; (1) some of the interfaces are limited (esp for inputs) and I wish the user had more/better control over changing the layout and format, and (2) it doesn’t integrate with Apple reminders and lists.

This thing is pretty cool! I had this thing up and running within 15 minutes. It’s got intuitive features that makes it super easy to learn. We wish we would have gone with the bigger one just for size purposes. The 15” meets our needs just looks small in the area we put it. I absolutely love that it doubles as an electronic photo frame!
