We bought this for the ability to share pur calendars in one place. We love, love, love that feature and its ease of use and multiple ways to add events. We Also Love the shopping list feature and also truly enjoy the ability to add photos not only ourselves but have family members send them to our skylight email address!

I have had my eye on the Skylight Calendar for a a few years. With my oldest entering kindergarten and engaging in additional activities outside school, we knew it was the right time to invest. I personally have found it to be a blessing because I no longer have to answer a million questions about our schedule. The Skylight is a blessing and was simple to configure.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife and her initial reaction was less than enthusiastic. She called it "unnecessary" and a "waste of money". I talked her into using it for the trial period. We are now 45 days into the trial period and she absolutely loves it. She loves it so much that if it were to break, we would immediately buy a new. We use it daily for the calendar and chore features for the kids. It is simple, easy to update, and clearly allows everyone in our house to know what's going on. I would 100% recommend it for families that are always on the go. It is a complete game changer.

We love this calendar. It took a few tries to sync our phone calendars to it, (no luck with apple calendar, but it easily synced with the google calendar that is linked to our apple phone.) I really love that we can all stay on the same page this way. I love the option to forward an email to the account and it can add an event from the email to your calendar! The grocery list is an added bonus! Can't wait to try the chores feature.

Device works great and replaced the two dry large erase boards I had hung up to fill in all the events, appointments and dinner plans for the month. The chore feature is great and I love syncing our online family calendar. Which I ended up publishing and subscribing via ics from the calendar for a more consistent connection. The app also works nicely and is a good way to manage the calendar.

I definitely recommend Skylight, their products are very useful and we have enjoyed the features of the calander. I wish there were more settings in the app though. The colors of the events are very faint and don't stand out on the calander in the app. There are no settings for darker colors of events. I also think the calander was a little expensive for what you get and the lack of settings and options in the app.

Overall very good! Could be better! The Skylight Calendar 15" has significant color and contrast shifts depending on the viewing angle. The Skylight Calendar 10" was not as pronounced. Neither of them does a good job of re-sizing images that are not exactly 16:9 aspect ratio. Frequently the tops of heads are trimmed off. Adding captions to images is extremely difficult. This should be a global option to include the IPTC Description (Windows Title) as the caption for all images and selectable with the frame screen, Skylight cloud, or app options.

I looked for a long time for balanced reviews of the calendar and couldn't find any, so I hope this is helpful. The calendar is nice looking and I like it in theory, but, as my husband says, "it seems like the beta version." There are so many little things that are annoying about it. Examples: 1. I don't love the way the schedule displays. I can't find a good view where we can see a whole week and visualize all events on each day 2. When you add chores one at a time, there is no option to quickly add chores you've used previously. You can have chores "repeat daily," but I don't always want that. So if some days you want your kids to set the table and some days you don't, you have to manually type "set the table" each time. 3. You can set the calendar to go to sleep automatically during certain times. But if you wake it up to look at something, it doesn't automatically go back to sleep - you have to do it manually. So if my kids wake it up in the evening, to stays on unless I fix it. I'm going to keep using it because I have it now, but I'm not really sure that it's worth the money I spent. Maybe if they come out with a new version that fixes some of these issues.

I think it's pretty amazing. It's super easy to get stuff into the calendar (it has AI that reads emails and even screen shots), it imports automatically any calendar events from your iPhone, the calendar looks really good in the app, the shopping/ to-do lists are easy to manage and you can look/edit on your phone and the kids can input into the screen at the house. I'm a pretty big fan so far.

Wishing you could use without wifi, especially on app. Also would like to be able to import recipes instead of manually entering all ingredients and directions. Love the feature for sending email and the information automatically being put in calendar.
