Between work, school, activities, and other events our family struggled to manage between various calendars. Having the Skylight Calendar in our kitchen has provided a central place for all the things we need- single point calendar that we categorize by family member, chores lists, grocery list, and to-dos. We love having the app on our phones which allows us to stay on top of the calendar and lists without missing a beat. It's truly the best system for our family. We love it!

Great to keep up with schedules. Wish it had a choice to only show Monday through Friday. Also have to use it on hotspot so when Fran goes into sleep mode it has to reconnect to network. I have to enter password for network again it does not have a save feature

I’ve really liked the calendar so far. It makes my life easier to have everything sync to both my home and phone. I like the color customization so my kids can easily see their activities. The menu feature is nice. I also really like the chore component, however it does seem to load slowly when chores are being marked off. Overall, I would definitely recommend this calendar. The size is great and easy to see and the calendar syncing has worked great with my google calendars. I would purchase again!

My wife (10 years older than I) uses a paper calendar. I use a digital one and so does my son. This has perfected knowing if the family schedule is clear for something. Also, chores. My son hates it when I approach him each day about little chores. This way, I just put them on the calendar and he chips away at them whenever! Finally, the grocery list. It's great to have that on a fridge, but not everyone can afford that kind of fridge. Gotta stop chopping down trees for the grocery list, chore pad, and calendars. Go digital!

While the frame and photo feature are lovely products, we purchased Skylight as a family organization center. We were only interested in the calendar and chore features. After trying the product out for about a month we found the following too challenging to work with: -Chores cannot be added to multiple people at once, so if you are adding the same chore to multiple people you have to submit that same exact entry multiple times -Chores cannot be organized or reordered once they have been entered. There is no option to enter time of day for chores, or to reorder chores, or to assign them for certain times of day. Once entered in the app, the chores for each person appear in a completely randomized order on the frame and must be continuously scrolled through to find the next chore to be completed -Only the app can be used to add items to the frame. The website has no access for this. -You cannot select multiple categories (people) when adding events from the frame. If you want to add an event for multiple people, you would have to create a whole new category for those people. All of these shortcomings were shared with the Skylight team. The response I received noted that the calendar and chore features are brand new to the Skylight offering and that the suggestions would be passed on to the team. Customer service has been great. We simply need a calendar/chore management system that is more developed, intuitive, user-friendly, and optimized for large families.

We bought this for the ability to share pur calendars in one place. We love, love, love that feature and its ease of use and multiple ways to add events. We Also Love the shopping list feature and also truly enjoy the ability to add photos not only ourselves but have family members send them to our skylight email address!

I purchased this for my wife and we ran into a problem syncing the calendars. They offer a zoom meeting for people who are having issues. But they couldn't fix it with a zoom meeting so they said someone will Email me. To help me. But the email asks 1 question and then it takes them atleast a day to respond to that. So I have a expensive nightlight. I'm not one to write bad reviews but this one is tough just because the way it's being handled.

I love my skylight calendar. The kids check off their chores and add to the grocery list as we run out of things. They never ask me anymore what the plans are because they can look at the calendar - and when we aren't using it, everyone has sent pictures to share for the slideshow!

While I love the concept and the initial experience, I have had a lot of trouble getting my Iphone to sync with my calendar. This defeats the whole purpose of the device, and I am disappointed to have spent so much money for a calendar on my wall that takes so much time and effort.

We have been using the calendar for about a week now and we are absolutely loving it! Between work and social schedules, in addition to school starting up this has been making life and our communication so much easier! Our daughter loves being able to pop open the calendar and see what's going on for the day. We've struggled with meal planning in the past but are now using it to map out our dinners for the week ahead. So far I am so glad that we took the dive and purchased this calendar!
