Before Skylight, I had a calendar on my phone and my husband had one on his. We shared invites but there was no way to let our kids see what was going on. Now we have everything on one calendar in our kitchen that they can interact with. We even included a chore that requires them to "check the calendar". And my husband really likes the meal planning and shopping lists.

I really enjoy it, there could be a couple things that would make it better such as I have two kids and they alternate some chores so somthing to do that would make it easier IE there are two lawns (front and back) and they alternate mowing every two weeks… so I had to make a chore for front kid 1 every 4 weeks and the back kid 1 every two weeks then the opposite the same with kid 2 so I had to make 4 chores and figure out how to make sure they alternated. Little things like that, that could be improved. We also alternate dishes and clean up as well so had to do the same for that.

I absolutely love my Skylight calendar and wish I had gotten the max. It has been such a great addition to our household. The kids run right to it daily to look at their chores, and use it for the meal planning and shopping list now, which has been a game changer for me. And then everyone is able to check out, the schedules for the week

I'm still not sold. I have 12 kids in my home and I have used so many different chore charts and scheduling methods for our large family. I'm hopeful that skylight can be a convenient digital solution for our hectic lives. We've had a few kinks to work out but the support has been really great and responsive. There are a few improvements I would like to see such as a way to track/store allowance for chores for each kid. Also, we have a large house-- it would be really nice to be able to to have 2 devices synced together just for convenience which would help motivate my kids to track their chores. A confetti celebration only occurs after all the chores are complete--my kids would enjoy it more if it was a celebration after every time they completed a chore. I would also love a larger screen option of even a vertical display option. Hoping my love for skylight continues to grow.

I have my Google colander synch d and my chores put in. Unfortunately, chores are often not displaying and the calendar import of Google or cozi is not always real-time or near-real time. I have gotten into the habit of restarting the skylight every morning So that the chores show up.

I have to admit I was very skeptical of this Calendar, and as a busy working Mom I was concerned this would just be another 'thing' for me to manage. But WOW has this reduced stress and improved functioning in our neurospicy family. It's been several weeks now and we are meeting our goals for more consistent family dinners and healthy meals. Parents have the same information about pediatrician appointments and kid activities, so as Mom I am no longer responsible to know everything. Put differently, this successfully reduced the mental load!!!!! I have used the calendar to schedule in time for my hobbies and activities, which Moms will know is often hard to make happen. Kid uses the chore chart to check his chores and I am being completely honest when I tell you there is less pushback and arguing about chores. My kid who has ADHD wakes up in the morning, checks his schedule, checks his chores, knows what to expect for the day and does stuff on time on his own initiative. This thing is worth every penny and I wish I'd bought it sooner.

The calendar is really nice. But it's a novelty...that wears off on the family pretty quickly. After a month, I (mom) am the only person using it. I was so excited to get it bc of having surgery and having our kids and husband chip in with assigned work and after a month it's not being used. Regretting the purchase. I also did not want to pay for the yearly plan, but there is no option to cancel.

I have a hard time thinking I ever did without this. It has become an integral tool in our life. We got them for both of our children and they can’t live without it now either. From calendars to grocery and to do lists and of course photos. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Overall the idea of the calendar is good, but the execution is lacking. The interface is slow. Adding items to calendar, tasks, or meal planning takes quite a bit of time. WIsh there were better combined views with calendar/tasks/meals. With some refinement of the interface and data entry, could be a great product.

My girls (ages 7 and 10) really appreciate now having a visual of our weekly plans. It was easy to add events to our Skylight calendar: I’m able to add them individually so that all of my work meetings didn’t bog it down, which I loved! We all are enjoying it.
