The picture upload and sharing is a great way to keep memories alive and out of the depths of our phones and the task setup is easy (harder to get everyone looking at it regularly) and the recipe addition and upload is pretty amazing all around - some glaring issues are the perplexingly bad grocery list system where it can't categorize anything and it's a 4 step process to put things in the right category, others like the amazon alexa integration/task coordination are pretty abysmal, hopefully better smart-home integrations will come in the future.

This calendar is everything I was looking for! The chore and tasks list for the kids is so amazing. No more nagging for each task, just a reminder to go check their list. Saves so much frustration! The meal planning with the ability to add to a grocery list is my 2nd favorite feature! Being able to pick the weekly meals, add those items automatically to a grocery list, then do my grocery check in reverse to see what items I already have, life changing! I am a researcher and know this is a big purchase for some, I was skeptical as well. DON'T BE! You will love it!

We wanted to upgrade our meal planning and grocery list from a manual paper system to something digital. Since we don't have kids, we don't use the chores or rewards features much (if at all). For our needs, Skylight almost perfectly hits the mark. Pros: The meal planning tools are excellent. The dedicated meal calendar closely replicates the paper meal calendar we used for years, which made the transition easy. The main schedule calendar merges multiple calendars and offers color-coding options. We assign a single color to each person, making it very easy to glance at and plan our week. Cons: The stand is a big miss. It does not adjust at all. We don't have enough wall space near a power outlet to mount it in landscape mode, and we don't want it mounted in portrait mode. An adjustable stand would have made a big difference. The Grocery List feature also needs improvement. When adding recipes, it duplicates common ingredients instead of consolidating them. For example, if multiple meals require salt and pepper, it adds “salt” and “pepper” for each meal instead of checking whether they're already on the list. Similarly, instead of increasing the quantity (e.g., eggs), it creates multiple entries like “egg,” “egg,” “egg,” and “2 eggs.” Printing the grocery list is another limitation. There's no direct print option. To print, we have to send the list to Instacart and print from there. While we appreciate the Instacart integration, it doesn't align well with how we prefer to shop. A simple printable list or direct integration with specific stores would work better for us. Overall: Skylight has significantly improved our menu planning and saves us time each week. With better grocery list management (ideally smarter consolidation or AI optimization), direct store integrations, and an adjustable stand, it would be nearly perfect for our household.

Really like the calendar option, importing appointments and syncing calendars is easy. Importing recipes is also easy. List function is great. Task function is weak. You can only view the current day (not the month) and you can create larger tasks with subtasks. This particular function is dissapointing so hopefully improvements will be made in future updates.

My family is loving our new Skylight Calendar. My two teenage boys are going in and adding their own events so they ensure they have rides to and from when they want or need to be places. They check the calendar rather than asking me 100 times throughout the week about their schedules. They do not miss dress down days or special events at school and I feel like a better mom because I know as long as it is on the calendar they will be prepared for what they need to do!

I would love this so much more if a key feature that Cozi had was included. That is notifying other parties on the calendar when an event is added. I hate that I add stuff but my partner does not know it unless I explicitly tell him that its on there. Somewhat defeats the purpose of a shared calendar unless you are constantly checking it for updates which no one does !

Game changer for the family. So nice to be able to color code each person and easily go back and forth between day, week, and month. My kids love the daily tasks lists so I don’t need to keep reminding them what needs to be done. I also love the photo screen saver. All families need this

This device just layered another costly piece of technology that eventually felt redundant and didn't deliver on its intention. Already use so many calendars and lists that this didn't consolidate things to make it more efficient. Definitely not at the current total cost.

I absolutely love this calendar. We call it our family brain because it keeps all the chaos in order. I would and have suggested it to so many people. On top of how much I love this calendar, the customer service is top notch. They were so extremely helpful and it felt like my needs were important to them. This is a 5 star product with 5 star service.

We really like the functionality of the frame, and how you can assign tasks to people or schedule events for certain people. I also appreciate the meal-planning, grocery lists, and recipe saving features. Biggest flaw is the internet connectivity is TERRIBLE. It randomly disconnects at least once a week, which isn't a dealbreaker but is a nuisance.
