I like the calendar, however, when I input times for things on the calendar, later ill look at it and somehow the times keep changing to random times. Not sure what the issue is. May have to return.

We wanted to upgrade our meal planning and grocery list from a manual paper system to something digital. Since we don’t have kids, we don’t use the chores or rewards features much (if at all). For our needs, Skylight almost perfectly hits the mark. Pros: The meal planning tools are excellent. The dedicated meal calendar closely replicates the paper meal calendar we used for years, which made the transition easy. The main schedule calendar merges multiple calendars and offers color-coding options. We assign a single color to each person, making it very easy to glance at and plan our week. Cons: The stand is a big miss. It does not adjust at all. We don’t have enough wall space near a power outlet to mount it in landscape mode, and we don’t want it mounted in portrait mode. An adjustable stand would have made a big difference. The Grocery List feature also needs improvement. When adding recipes, it duplicates common ingredients instead of consolidating them. For example, if multiple meals require salt and pepper, it adds “salt” and “pepper” for each meal instead of checking whether they’re already on the list. Similarly, instead of increasing the quantity (e.g., eggs), it creates multiple entries like “egg,” “egg,” “egg,” and “2 eggs.” Printing the grocery list is another limitation. There’s no direct print option. To print, we have to send the list to Instacart and print from there. While we appreciate the Instacart integration, it doesn’t align well with how we prefer to shop. A simple printable list or direct integration with specific stores would work better for us. Overall: Skylight has significantly improved our menu planning and saves us time each week. With better grocery list management (ideally smarter consolidation or AI optimization), direct store integrations, and an adjustable stand, it would be nearly perfect for our household.

I was very skeptical, but hear me out.... I rarely write reviews and I'm not affiliated with any relevant party... not being paid for this review, which was unsolicited. I'm an organizer by nature... it holds my family together... like many working parents, I have a full plate...2 little kids with all the classes, school projects and sports that come along with them. My husband works a rotating schedule full time and we also own a small business (...you know just big enough to worth it but not big enough to hire someone to help tame the chaos...) We're the calendar worst-case scenario... I've been surviving with a meticulous combo of paper planner, Google calendar, Outlook calendar, our Electronic Health Record system, and Bloomz, Class Dojo and Team Reach etc for the kids. This is not because we're set in our ways or not tech-savvy, but because there's been no other viable option that can come close. After much persuasion, market research, and seeing a sale at Sam's backed by a generous return policy, I decided to take the leap. I AM SO IMPRESSED... I went into this thinking I would have to improvise in a lot of other areas, but I set the calendar up yesterday and have already eliminated the complex trainwreck of a chore chart we took forever building, our note app, grocery list app, school lunch menu, google and outlook (integrated seamslessly.) I cleaned off the bulletin board and dry erase board in the kitchen and am still haven't tapped into half of what this thing can do... My children have been intrigued by the chore function and have completed their tasks proactively WITHOUT PROMPTING. Just buy it...buy it now.

Haven’t opened it yet, as this is a Christmas present but I am so excited about this for my daughter and her family! I think this is perfect for a young family for easy access to the days, weeks and months planning so that everyone is keyed in to upcoming events.

For the time being at least, when I purchased this in-store the material said it includes 1 year of Plus features. However, you have no way to activate said year without contacting customer support. This is very fishy to me. If you’re having trouble, don’t fall into paying for a subscription right away. Get in touch with support with a copy of your receipt and get the year code. Seems slimy of Sam’s Club to have something with that level of overhead attached when we are outright told that it comes with it. Device seems fine so far. I am only concerned quality-wise with the drywall anchors they include. Like most other things they seem to include very cheap ones. While the device isn’t heavy, since it is a digital screen it would be more prudent to include a more quality set of anchors. I have a good set that grips the backside of the drywall that I’ll be using instead.

It's pretty easy to set up and looks pretty cool but there was no info ( I haven't been able to find anything) about the 3 year photo and videos so that is frustrating.
