The app is glitchy. The app will freeze and/ or when we open the app, it makes it look like we don't have an account or a plus account and we have to completely exit out of the account and log back in again. Really inconvenient when we're at the store or trying to quickly give our kids rewards. I was hoping that having the frame would help us stay off our phones but the app has so many more features that we utilize and the frame is restrictive. The frame is also glitchy because I'll be in the middle of typing a list or chore and it closes out to the sleep screen. We will also get logged out of “plus” mode, like we don't have the subscription. The frame could improve for us in the following: Have a true lock screen with a code to get in. Be supported off the plug, have a battery that can charge the device in case the power goes out. Do everything that the app does: Add rewards/ stars. Separate lists. Pull chores from the task box. Add locations to calendar details. Have meal planning and Grocery lists on the same page so it's an easy add. Be able to share a single event or activity with someone. Etc. Some positive feedback: My kids do love checking off their chores and earning rewards. Communication has improved with family on if we're busy. Final thoughts: Not fully suggested for families who want this to help their neurodivergent kids. The screen glitches too much and has stemmed meltdowns because, “it no work. ” The frame in my opinion is not worth the price tag.

This is such a great organizing tool for our very busy family! With meal planning, task management (and the ability to add points), and color coordinating schedules, we have reduced stress and my kids actually think it's fun to do their chores. I wish I had the money for the bigger screen, but for a starter, this is life changing

My husband an I needed a way to see each other's calendars on our phones and this provides the perfect solution. We were trying to manage our schedules on a paper calendar hanging on the refrigerator, but the Skylight is by far more efficient in helping us keep from having schedule conflicts.

So far so good. While it doesn't do everything I expected it to and there are still a lot of improvements skylight can make to help the skylight calendar more user friendly and versatile. I've had to make up several workarounds for what I feel are simple workarounds that could have straight forward fixes. Overall it's worth the purchase and I'm looking forward to seeing how skylight helps integrate more features and better use ability.

Overall good for what it does. It would be very helpful to have the ability to view and even edit the calendar in Outlook as many working parents need to use that for work. Being able to see everything in one place would be very helpful. It would also be nice if the screen had the ability to attach a fire stick or other similar device for additional functionality.

I was very skeptical, but hear me out.... I rarely write reviews and I'm not affiliated with any relevant party... not being paid for this review, which was unsolicited. I'm an organizer by nature... it holds my family together... like many working parents, I have a full plate...2 little kids with all the classes, school projects and sports that come along with them. My husband works a rotating schedule full time and we also own a small business (...you know just big enough to worth it but not big enough to hire someone to help tame the chaos...) We're the calendar worst-case scenario... I've been surviving with a meticulous combo of paper planner, Google calendar, Outlook calendar, our Electronic Health Record system, and Bloomz, Class Dojo and Team Reach etc for the kids. This is not because we're set in our ways or not tech-savvy, but because there's been no other viable option that can come close. After much persuasion, market research, and seeing a sale at Sam's backed by a generous return policy, I decided to take the leap. I AM SO IMPRESSED... I went into this thinking I would have to improvise in a lot of other areas, but I set the calendar up yesterday and have already eliminated the complex trainwreck of a chore chart we took forever building, our note app, grocery list app, school lunch menu, google and outlook (integrated seamslessly.) I cleaned off the bulletin board and dry erase board in the kitchen and am still haven't tapped into half of what this thing can do... My children have been intrigued by the chore function and have completed their tasks proactively WITHOUT PROMPTING. Just buy it...buy it now.

Granddaughter now knows what’s expected of her and looks forward to checking off her accomplishments throughout the day, even reminding her mom and dad of her accomplishments and checking them off, followed by reminding them of their upcoming to-do items. Then comes the proud day of recognition for a job welll done.

It is a little tricky to figure out how to use it and get it to talk to my phone calendar. I wish I could export and print from it. Thebsidekick email feature is currently broken so that makes it more cumbersome to enter information. My photos is filling up with screenshots of emails. The part B the stand I received doesn't have the correct holes drilled to receive the screws it came with so I can't properly assemble it to sit on the counter.

Our skylight keeps our family sane! This is the only way to organize a large active family! Meal plans, chores, ALL the activities and which parent is taking which kid. Love that we can add info into the event so the address and what to bring can be readily available if you're the chauffer and not the planner. Love the meal plans and recipes! The chores make my life so much easier without having to tell kids 5 times each what to do. The magic import is my bff with all the schedules! We use lists for groceries, checklists for cleaning zones in the house, to do lists, and so many thing. So easy to add pictures as we go. I cannot say enough good things! I recommend this to anyone who wants to take some of the stress out of life.

We enjoy the Skylight. It keeps our family on task and easy to know what's on the calendar in one location. I would enjoy being able to add stars directly within the Skylight instead of using the app - it's an extra step for me especially if my phone is not nearby while updating tasks. Otherwise we have highly recommend this to family and friends.
