This mattress has been great for my back and hip pain. The memory foam provides great lumbar support and I don't wake up hurting anymore. It took me about a week to adjust to the new mattress; I would have some good and bad sleep nights. My husband struggled to sleep the first month but now is used to the mattress and sleeps well.

We decided to purchase our TEMPUR-Adapt due to me constantly waking up stiff and in pain. This mattress has been a blessing for me. I no longer wake up feeling like I am injured. I'm still getting use to the mattress but I can definitely tell a difference in my quality of sleep and my overall health.

Have had my mattress (no box spring, just on a platform frame) for about 3 months now. Took a couple weeks getting settled in on it, I thinks because we got new pillows at the same time. But after that short time it has been terrific. I would recommend this bed to everyone.

I replaced a traditional spring that was easily 16 years old. I was overwhelmed with the mattress options out there. I settled on this one. I have never in my life slept so good and had quality rem sleep. I can't believe I waited so long to buy a new mattress! I absolutely love it!!!

Got a twin tempur adapt. Store manager said it's good for hot side sleeper but he was so wrong. I'm 5ft 2 in nearly 200 lbs. Not only it's hot like an oven but my hip sag and only a little better if sleep on the back.Use to sleep 7-8 hrs but now 4 hrs.cos of the pain and heat.its been a month and it's still hot hot hot if add a topper it's too high for me to climb cos with base foundation and mattress it's 29 inches high.use a stool to get on the bed but fell down cos step on the stool wrong at night.i dont feel like changing to another mattress cos couldn't afford to waste time to break it cos I'm not young.want to buy a cooling mattress protector but living on pension I couldn't afford it. Even the mattress is financing.if I know tempurpedic is so hot I wouldn't have got it.its winter and I sleep with short sleeve and shorts but the heat radiates where my body touches specially the back. Hate the mattress. Even the pillow that I had been using is hot.is there anything I can do without wasting more money to cool it down

My experience has been bad. I bought the mattress from a local mattress company. When I started to have back problems I called the number for Tempurpedic that said "Need Help? Talk to a sleep Expert." They refused to help me other than to tell me to call the mattress store since i did not buy the mattress direct from Tempurpedic. When one spends a lot of money to buy an expensive mattress, one would want to try it out first and you can't do that by ordering it directly from the manufcturer, I would think. I think I got the run around from Tempurpedic. I spent a lot of money for an expensive mattress and they only were willing to talk about if there was a factory defect. A back problem was a "comfort" issue and I was told to call the mattress store. The most useful comments suggested below says to contain specific information: How this product has changed my life: I have a back problem now. I don't know if it was coincidental with the purchase of the Tempurpedic mattress. But despite giving a phone number to call for help, I felt that they blew me off. Things you love about it: Nothing Things you don't love about it: I spent a lot of money to get a superior mattress, and I don't know if it is contributing to my back problem or not, but Tempurpedic in my opinion is giving me no useful help.

We have owned this bed for over 2.5 years, and are still very pleased with it - we look forward to getting back to sleeping in our own bed when on vacation! There was a short adjustment period (less than 2 weeks). It is the best bed we have ever had! The cooling cover works great, and the hybrid is the perfect mix of support and comfort. We recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade to a great mattress, it's pricey but worth it!

This is our second Tempur Pedic mattress. The first one lasted 15 years.....it was still comfortable but it was just time to replace it. It took NO time at all for my husband and I to get used to it. We slept like babies from the first night on....(no...we didn't wake up crying for a bottle every two hours ! LOL!!! ) If it's time for you to replace your mattress, we HIGHLY recommend a TempurPedic. Take your time and try out all your options. You won't be sorry!

1. We were super hesitant to spend this much money on a bed. 2. Wasn't 100% sold that it would be worth the money 3. Split King made me wonder if the gaps between my bed and my fiancé's bed would bother me 4. Was concerned the hybrid would be too firm 5. Did i mention the price? 6. couldn't tell if i was sold on the hype or if this really was a good bed. Turns out... 1. you get over it once you realize how much time you spend in a bed and how much a poor nights sleep ruins your day 2. Trust me it's worth it 3. It does sometimes but im in too deep of a slumber to care lol 4. Not at all, for me a soft was too extreme and i went back and forth on this for weeks. the bed gets softer overtime so a hybrid turned out to be perfect 5. If you can finance do it, we pay more than the minimum each month so it's not bad and it's interest free 6. this really is a good bed. I had mild back pain, acid reflux, and another health thing going on and this bed has helped FAR MORE than what i thought was possible for something as simple as a mattress. I felt the benefits immediately (mind you our old bed came from bedrock) but even still it took me no time to fall asleep. my fiancé had the medium (definitely on the firmer side so i do not venture over there lol) and he loves it. Now my cons: 1. Fitted sheets do not stay on this bed and it's the most annoying thing in the world. Buy sheet hooks, you'll thank me later. 2. If i was being super picky, i wish the base was more quiet. hearing my fiancé move his side at night when i'm trying to sleep is annoying 3. the mattress has a tendency to slide on the base. not a whole lot but i am giving it the occasional bump in the morning. Notice how these are mediocre cons? Buy the bed!lol

Broke down after less than two years, nothing but back pain. This was a replacement for the original Cloud TP that we had purchased in 2013, and we were talked into the Hybrid by our local salesman. Nope, never again. Within a year, there was a solid 8 inch crack leading all the way down to the coils, leading to many uncomfortable nights of sleep and lots of back pain. Stick with the regular memory foam.
