It sometimes feels like the measurements are off. Obviously, with a wrist watch things won't be 100% accurate all the time so I still give it 5 stars. I wonder if I need to calibrate it to maybe correct it. The battery lasts so much longer than my previous watch so I'm already impressed. The customization is quite extensive as well. I changed clock faces, edited my short cuts and even downloaded another app for my watch. The store seems a little confusing but I just need more time on it to understand it. Tldr: good watch, needs some improvements in the measurements aspect(or mine needs calibration if that's even a thing), battery lasts quite a while, customization is great

There are a lot of good features on the Vivoactive 5, including the night mode with less activity that can disturb sleep, and the longer battery life. The big disappointment I have is it doesn't seem to track floors, which previous vivoactives do. I had switched from my Venu Squared back to the Vivoactive, hoping to regain that feature, as I wanted to do the step climbing challenges. My search engine had indicated the feature was on this watch, but it doesn't appear to be the case. Other than that, it seems to track my other activities, like swimming, walking, and biking very well. I also like how it talks through my phone when I hit lap milestones with my walks.

That’s how I described this the other day, because of how often I get reminders to start moving again! But I love this watch and its features. I bought it to track my distance and heart rate while swimming but have gotten hooked on the extras and ease of use—and I haven’t even read the owner’s manual! I need to find time to learn the many features; however, I love that this only has two buttons and the touchscreen makes scrolling menus super easy. I was worried on how long I’d have to take this off to charge the battery but it charges quickly so I charge it while I’m doing dishes and take my shower. I highly recommend this!

I've been using a fitbit for walking plus a golf watch for golfing for 10 years. Nice to have one watch for both!! The only downside, the garmin watch doesn't record as many steps for things like mowing the yard, etc. where the arms are swinging. Way more features than I use but overall really like the product.

Bought Garmin specifically for Body Battery information. Only 1 month in and still learning all possibilities of tracking - Sleep and Body Battery info very informative. Syncing with MyFitnessPal and seems seem less thus far. Would purchase again.

Fitness stats very interesting. Body battery, etc. Auto sleep tracking misses first 1 - 3 hours of sleep. I do wake up frequently. I had used a Fitbit Versa 2 whose auto sleep tracking also missed sleep, but let me enter sleep start time and wake up time. Display is great. Lots of on watch stats. Great battery life. 10 days.

I seriously can’t say enough good things about this smartwatch. The color is gorgeous (I get compliments all the time), and the battery life blows me away – I go days without needing to charge it, even with regular use. This is a companion to a Venu. My Venu battery was starting to get weak, still good enough for a round of golf but better charge it right before playing. Liked the bezel on the Venu, seems to protect the watch face. They left altitude feature off on this Vivoactive 5, hard to say why. The Vivo functions much like the Venu. It has a lot more memory, good if you want to use it as a music player. I guess phone usage is so important these days that I am seldom without it, this negates any value to using watch as a music player. Connectivity and GPS accuracy all seem good. I have heard some disturbing rumors about Garmin forcing owners into subscription services. Their watches are already somewhat expensive, how much more do they need to squeeze out of the customer? I own a Vivoactive 3, Venu, and now a Vivoactive 5. The Venu was one of the best purchases I ever made. Great view screen, super features. Could have used a few better faces. Was a bit surprised to find the the Vivo 5 did not share all the same faces as the Venu, it is billed as a better battery replacement for the Venu. All in all another good Garmin product

I bought this watch mainly to keep track of my health however, it is not user friendly, more difficult when the button does not respond very well to my presses. I'm still debating to return it or continue learning how to use it. I just like having alternative watch other than I-watch.
