[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I think the dryer does a good job getting my clothes dry. I love the multiple settings on it and the ability to do a pure timed dry. I really find the ability to download cycles an interesting and fun way to experiment with what works for different fabrics. The app was very easy to download, set up, and use. The cycles have several different settings and that is helpful. I like the ability to program the dryer as well through downloadable cycles. The dyer also looks very modern and stately. As with any new dryer I am getting used to how the timed cycles are working compared to my old dryer. I like that this one is more energy efficient. Overall this dyer does a good job and has several nice features. The only Con I see - is that it does not seem to get as hot as my old dryer -hence the efficiency and it does take longer for towels to dry and bulky items. I am still working out the kinks on how to dry large items without getting damp spots i.e. drying a comforter completely. That is the only downside so far in my evaluation. Overall, a good dryer that does great with everyday laundry.

The dryer can be set to a time, set via a sensor, or set according to the Application on the phone. So far, great drying and our first try at the wrinkle prevent made our sheets and clothes quite puffy. We needed two baskets instead of one. I look forward to trying to sanitize, bedding, and air fluff. Need help troubleshooting a problem or code? Smart Care is there. It is a very helpful and intuitive user interface. If you still are stuck, support numbers are available in the app. Overall, we are impressed with our initial week of using the Samsung Washer / Dryer set and look forward to utilizing the full suite of options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After replacing an older dryer with this one, I have been very pleased. The dryer works great on sensor dry and is pretty quiet while it is running. It has a large capacity, so can hold all of the laundry that I am able to wash in the matching washer. A couple of other features that I love are light which my older dryer didn't have and the lint filter indicator. Overall, a very nice dryer. I have a Samsung phone, so already had the Smart-Things app, but connecting to the dryer was quick and easy. It is nice to be able to see where you are at in the drying cycle without walking out to the laundry room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks clean and sleek. LOVE the steam option but it isn't 100% full proof to get the wrinkles out. Would give it 5 stars but when the laundry is done, it sings for what feels like an eternity. The only other option is to completely disable sound which I don't want to do either.

no matter what i do, i can’t get this dryer to dry clothes well. around 90% of each load is dry, but 10% is always damp. which causes the whole load to smell like mildew. very disappointing. i’ve turned off the auto sensor. i’ve changed the dryer settings (heat, times, etc…). i’ve made sure everything is not wadded up. i’ve tried to wash similar items together (i.e. all denim, all cotton). but something is always damp. is there a way to fix this?

This dryer is very spacious, perfect for those large quilts or for large families. This dryer runs very quietly and quickly. You can also use the Smart things app for this dryer and get notifications on your phone and assistance with selecting your drying choices. I highly recommend this dryer to anyone.

It has an extra large tub that has helped up reduce the amount of loads of laundry with our large family. The button layout is easy to understand, and the cycles are very easy to navigate. I like the door design because it can be set to open from the left or the right side. I really like the design of the lint trap. It's very efficient and will help prevent a lot of lint from getting into your dryer vent. This dryer has a steam/sanitize function that we have used several times already. It is especially useful for refreshing your clothes when you forget to get them out after the cycle is done. We intentionally left a load of scrubs and dress shirts in the dryer overnight and then the next day used the "Refresh" steam cycle and it took the wrinkles out of the clothes with ease. The smart things app was a breeze to setup and get running. There is a QR code that you can scan on the front of the dryer and it takes less than a minute to get working. The app tells you how much time is left on your cycle and has lot of helpful information like "Dry Recipe" which will help you pick a dry cycle depending on what clothes you are wanting to dry. The only critique I can find on the dryer is that the top is slanted and not flat. I guess the bright side is you won't have your dryer become a magnet for everything that comes into your house. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the dryer and have run it through about every cycle and option, and it has succeeded with flying colors. I am very happy with the purchase and would purchase it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has terrible pollen allergies so the feature on this Samsung dryer that i appreciate the most is the steam sanitize cycle. It removes 95 percent of pollen from fabrics and the multi steam cycle can also be used to remove wrinkles. Its a very handy feature to have! It also has sensor dry that automatically sets the needed time and temperature. I was really surprised that some dryers dont have an interior light anymore but this samsung dryer does ...another feature that i like a lot! This dryer connects to the smart things app with my other samsung appliances and that allows me to remotely schedule drying times and also troubleshoot any potential problems. It has a handy reminder to clean the lint filter on the control panel. I really like that its a large enough size to easily dry bedding or other bulky items. Im really happy with the size and the features of this dryer!

We bought the washer/dryer combo about 6 years ago. Washer still working great, dryer started having controls problems after 3 years, where the cycle wouldn't continue. The plastic lint trap area near the door also warped and allowed clothes to catch/rip around year 4 needing repairs. year 5, the dryer became really loud and couldn't keep loads balanced and now, the housing near the drum is damaged and the dryer is no longer usable. Also, drying took longer and longer around year 4 and with the controls, we had to set the timer manually because the pre-programmed load settings wouldn't continue. also, the door latching mechanism wore out around year 5.

I did not know a dryer could do that .This dyer is an awesome upgrade at a reasonable price.You can use the SmartThings app to control the dryer . I’m always waiting around for laundry to finish up!
