An app to notify my "tenant" that their clothes are dry so they aren't sitting in there getting wrinkled or holding up the process. Holds a ton of clothes and dries pretty evenly. But I am surprised how quickly my full load of clothes dried in the new gorgeous Samsung Electric Dryer.. It was very quiet the whole time. I paired the dryer with my Samsung Smartthings setup, so I even got the notification at the end of the cycle. Only thing I didn't like is the LED light in the dump is very weak, so there is hardly any light. But my laundry room light is good enough to illuminate inside the dryer as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung continues to amaze me with all their new technology. I have the new 7.4 cubic foot smart electric dryer with pet care. It has a steam sanitizer and of course, it connects to the smart things app which is fantastic because I can start and stop my Cycles with a touch of a button. This has 12 preset dry cycles, and nine downloadable dry cycles, the dryer door can be made reversible to accommodate your laundry room, it has five temperature settings and five drying levels. I love the team sanitizer feature, this helps to eliminate up to 99.9% of germs and bacteria on clothing. The sensor dry optimizes the time and temperature to keep your clothes from being damaged by heat. The vent sensor and lint filter indicate when your dryer is operating safely and efficiently. Everything that Samsung touches right now absolutely amazes me, they keep raising the bar every time they come up with a new product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our units for six months now. We do laundry DAILY. This is a top-of-the-line dryer, and I am very picky. The available settings, plus being able to make your OWN setting, takes the cake! We did set up the steam line, and it works perfectly. The only thing that could be improved is the lint trap, but then again, I've never had a dryer where that was perfect, and I've owned more dryers than most people. Love that my Samsung watch, phone, and TV all let me know when the cycle ends!!

This machine has problems with the drum, mines spins so recklessly it cracked the drum on the inside and Samsung is soooo great that the won’t fix it without a $140 inspection fee on top of the cost of product and labor for getting it fixed. So 0/100 DONT RECOMMEND

Some impressive items on the dryer - times, sensor, and a light! I did not realize how much I missed a light within an appliance. The dryer can be set to a time, set via a sensor, or set according to the Application on the phone. So far, the dryer has been great. Our first try at the wrinkle prevent option made our sheets and clothes quite puffy. We needed two baskets to carry the clothes instead of one. I look forward to trying sanitize, bedding, and air fluff. Software: SmartThings and Smart Care SmartThings is a fantastic app. Not only does it provide real time information for your dryer cycle, it helps understands all the available configuration options. The User Interface (UI) is very easy to use and follow. The barcode on the physical washer/dryer made it super easy for the software installation. Need help troubleshooting a problem or code? Smart Care is there. It is a very helpful and intuitive user interface. If you still are stuck, support numbers are available in the app. Overall, we are impressed with our initial week of using the Samsung Dryer and look forward to utilizing the full suite of options.

This dryer is very spacious, perfect for those large quilts or for large families. This dryer runs very quietly and quickly. You can also use the Smart things app for this dryer and get notifications on your phone and assistance with selecting your drying choices. I highly recommend this dryer to anyone.
