[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful gazebo and looks great out on the concrete pad we had poured. Well built structure and we had this assembled by the contractor who poured the pad. Although it came with an electric hookup I wired the gazebo and included additional plug receptacles and USB ports for outside use. The kit does come with a link for building the structure and a nice instruction manual and 800 number for any questions. We are very pleased with this structure and it was worth the cost and fits our needs. It is solid, has protection on the footings but you will have to purchase anchors for the feet of you plan to secure it to a concrete pad, which isn’t a big deal. Some helpful tips - the roof section or ladder piece will require two people to push it up into place and one man up on a ladder to secure it into position. The metal roof pieces come with a plastic protective film, so keep this box cool and out if the sun so that the plastic doesn’t bake onto the metal surface. Electric - the electric is basically a plug & use system. In other words, if you do not have an outlet nearby you will need to run an extension cord to the gazebo and plug it in to the wiring that is provided with the kit. I opted to run electric underground through half inch conduit to power the lights and receptacles that I installed. The lower portion of the support columns on the gazebo are hollow. This will allow you to run the conduit up into the leg and conceal it completely. You will have to drill an access hole for a receptacle. The columns are at least 2 inches thick and there is a built-in solid portion at the top for the structural integrity of the gazebo. This is a beautiful gazebo, structurally sound and you won’t be disappointed by purchasing it!

We purchased this Gazebo last June. Words cannot fully explain how the addition of this gazebo has altered the experience in our backyard patio! To begin with it creates and incredible welcoming, comforting and relaxing experience. Many of our neighbors and friends have commented about the welcoming and cosey feeling the gazebo provides during many of our social gatherings! It is also aesthetically very pleasing and greatly enhances the appearance of our patio giving it and our backyard a very classy look. In addition, the electrical outlets provided make adding additional accessories such as a fan and patio lights very convenient! Since adding this gazebo, we spend far more time outdoors enjoying the relaxing ambiance it provides! This was a great purchase for our family!

I bought this a while back and we have enjoyed it so much! Out outdoor experience is so much better with this addition. The durability is great and the dimensions with well for us. The electricity is the highlight as we can create our ambiance for the night of needed.

We got this for our "party pad" and could not be happier! Overall quality is great for the price, especially when you look at other products on the market. My brother in law and boss are already looking at purchasing because of the quality and experience we had. Took 2 days to put together and it is helpful to have at least 3 adults to get the roof on, but it was well worth the time and we are already using it. We built a 8 ft table to put under it just to give you an idea of size.

We expanding our back patio and needed something to provide shade that looked nice, was functional and didn’t cost a fortune. We came across the Backyard Discovery Brookdale Gazebo. We had it delivered and paid a little extra for the assembly, which was worth every penny. It took the team only a few short hours to have it put together and ready to use. The gazebo is absolutely gorgeous and just what our backyard needed. The outlet plugs are so convenient to have. We were able to string lights and we even hung a fan under the gazebo so we can still enjoy it on hot summer days. We anchored the gazebo with the included bolts and trust me when I tell you that it’s not going anywhere. We live in an area prone to hurricanes and last year it stood up to hurricane force winds and didn’t budge! We are true believers in this product! We get so many compliments and have recommended the gazebo to friends and family. We really love it more than we expected and we are so happy with our purchase. It has made our patio so enjoyable! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this in March with the added on service of assembly. WOW, I’m so impressed. It’s much higher than I anticipated and covers my patio so nicely. It is very sturdy and doesn’t move an inch during the Spring storms we got. I just sealed it with an oil-based sealer to protect the wood and it should be good to go for years. Don’t pass this up!

This Gazebo could have been built a lot faster if the hardware was a lot better and the small predrilled holes were easier to see. I had to work the bolts on and off the nuts numerous times before actually using them on the gazebo. It gets very annoying having to do that numerous times every step of the way. Other than these 2 problems the gazebo would have been fairly easy to put together

We just recently completed installing the Gazebo at our campsite. It's sturdy, looks amazing, and provides good shade! We love it!. Definitely requires attention to detail during assembly, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to do the assembly. All you need is 2 - 3 people giving you a hand at certain points in the install and some patience.

The wife and I put this together. It was amazing how precise the pieces fit together and how the holes all lined up. All the pieces were there and fasteners too. For the most part, pretty simple but you will have you some muscles as you erect the frame and put the roof on.
