Took longer to put together than the directions said but was still not bad. Was able to put a lot of sections together by myself and then got help to attach it all together. Was actually pretty easy. Hardest part was making sure the roof sections were square. It is up and beautiful. The wife is really happy and we will get many years of family use of the gazebo. Neighbors all love it and think it is awesome

We were going to roof over our Backyard Deck when we found this perfect Gazebo Addition. It's cost was a third of constructing a Roof and it looks beautiful. The electrical plug feature makes outdoor charging of phones and iPads cool. It took a couple of days to put together. We anchored it to the deck and it sustained through a wind storm with ease.

So, far pretty happy with it. Seems sturdy, good quality and great details. Love the easy access outlet. Ordered with assembly, stress free!! Took a couple of weeks to get an appointment for assembly but otherwise, very happy with our purchase. I just hope it lasts!!

They have not underestimated the time to put this together. I did it myself, only using help to get the roof panels lifted on. There were several pieces of wood with large cracks and one of the roof support pieces was split. Fixed with wood glue and screws. The instructions were pretty good, needed to play close attention to the orientation of every piece. Very important. This took me an entire weekend to assemble and dig and pour footings

We purchased about 2 months ago and finally were able to get time off to assemble last week. My husband is extremely knowledgeable in construction and building but still had some hesitations, as this was his first outdoor pavilion to build. The entire construction took 2 afternoons. The instructions were slightly hard to follow in the beginning. The most important step was mounting the hardware on the 4 pillars in the correct direction, and on the correct sides of each pillar. If that isn’t right, I’d suspect nothing would align going forward. My husband took his time on this particular step, but after that was accomplished, it was pretty smooth sailing. The wood was lightweight enough that 2 people could easily maneuver in place. We haven’t finished landscaping yet but it’s already made a huge impact to our backyard! I can tell we made the right decision in purchasing and can’t wait to use it all summer.

We've had lots of flimsy gazebo things get ruined too quickly due to high wind and weather. This one was constructed over the weekend and has more brackets, nuts and bolts and support structure than any we've had before. Parts were many but instructions were easy enough to follow. It looks great and we plan on enjoying it for many years to come!

I did a lot of research on gazebo kits and found that my 12x10 Backyard Discovery package was the best choice. I did have a small glitch with the parts supplied but Backyard Discovery customer service took care of this quickly! I am extremely pleased with this gazebo and now, nine months later, it still looks new. Thanks guys!

It has now been a year since we installed the Brookdale gazebo in our small yard. Not only has it extended our living space outdoors, transformed the look of our yard and makes our outdoor living space more functional, but it also withstood a rather treacherous winter. It looks as good today as it did a year ago when we installed it!

I can’t say enough about this purchase. It looks great! The quality is excellent, looks professionally built. It is made of cedar wood which is a plus. It was not very difficult to build, did it myself. Best purchase ever, paid approx. $1500 in store.
