My family loves this product, but it molds very quickly! The flavor is great, but you better really love Parmesan or be prepared to freeze it in portions if you want to get the full value out of this large container.

Great product. We use it on pasta, pizza, salads, even baked French fries. Kids love it too. We found it does develop mold quickly if refrigerated, so we keep it in the freezer once opened and have had no problems with quality or freshness since.

While waiting for dinner to heat, I took out the canister of cheese and opened it and snacked on a pinch of it. Then out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the side of the canister had a hint of green. Upon further inspection, there was green mold all throughout the full canister of cheese. Didn't do much for my appetite. The cheese is 2 weeks old. A "use by 3/23/14" was stamped on the side... calendar date 12/12/13.

I purchased my first one a few years ago and we ate about half of it then it started to mold. I tried again a couple years later and the same thing happened. Looked at it in the store again this Spring and there was already mold in the unopened container....sorry but this needs to go....YUCK

Molds 6 months before the exp date. Unless you can use this in a week time frame do not buy.

Love the cheese and flavor but moldy in about 1 week.

My cheese is moldy and date is November 2022. I am very disappointed.
