Taste great!

I know some people have complained about mold. you can't have preservative free, additive free and not have a downside. just be cognizant of what you are using and the expiration date.

Had this on my Sat. Spaghetti Night dinner. Good stuff and I would buy again, *but*... The next Saturday Spaghetti night, I opened and scooped out some parm to put on my spaghetti, only to find what looked like a heap of green & bluish moldy stuff sitting on top of my pasta!! The entire inner contents had been attached by mold. I used it just once, kept it tightly sealed in my very cold fridge and a week later, it's totally unusable. Bottom line: I paid thirteen bucks for just one serving of shredded parm and then had to throw the rest of the 24 ounce container away. I feel cheated!

Moldy Cheese. This happened to me twice already and it doesn't say anywhere that I have to freeze half of it in order for the expiration date to be valid. The labels says -Best if Used By, a "Best if Used By/Before" date indicates when a product will be of best flavor or quality, and this is not the case here.

Like other reviewers, I've thrown out more of this cheese than I've eaten. The last one was the straw that broke thee camels back - it had a sell by date of 09/22/20 and when I pulled off the seal it was already moldy on top! I'm done with this product. It's awful to go to sit down to a nice plate of pasta and then find out you can't use the Parmesan cheese because it's full of mold. Totally unacceptable. I won't buy anymore - I suggest that Sams finds a better supplier.

I have bought this cheese approximately every two to three months for over two years. It has been an excellent value and has kept exceptionally well. However, the last container but one that I bought began to show mold well before the expiration date. Thinking I might have inadvertently left it out too long during food prep, I threw it out and tried again with a freshly bought container, being very careful to refrigerate it again immediately after each use. The end result is that mold appeared once more, more than six weeks prior to the expiration date. I won't be trying again. A pity, because it was perfect for the recipes I used it in.

Within 2 weeks of the jar being opened, grey fuzzy substance started to populate the cheese. We always use clean utensils or simply shook the jar gently to get the contents. I'm very disappointed. Ps: This flavor is mild. The Belgioiso brand is sharp.

Expiration date does not matter just like most products sold at Sam's. I like this product but despite the expiration date, it goes bad way before it. Not sure how it seems to last longer at Sam's. I refrigerate it no less than 27 degree celsius and it still does not last anywhere near the expiration date stamp. If you decide to buy it, i suggest using the entire product within 3 days after opening, regardless of the expiration date.

Don't waste your money. Just buy Craft which is also considerably less expensive.

Container turns to mold way too soon. Needs a fix.
