Delicious Parmesan

Very Good

GARBAGE! Takes forever to melt and taste like plastic out of the container. This is worse than any other processed cheese. Turned green/blue within a week. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We tried one of these and it molded-up within a couple of weeks after opening (while storing in the fridge). Tried another one and the same thing happened. Unless you are going to use it all within two weeks, you'll have to break it up and freeze a bunch — which kind of defeats the purpose.

i bought this due to the rising price of Parmigiano Reggiano. i still had a little left to do a side by side comparison. The difference between the two is like night and day. While the parmesan is still an excellent cheese that when paired with strong flavors may be undiscernable from its ancestor, it is not a suitable stand in for diehard Parmigiano Reggiano lovers.

This has a true Parmesan Flavor, very fresh and the nutty flavor shines. The texture is perfect and this size jar is a fantastic value per ounce. We always have a container on hand and the bonus of the jar being reusable is a plus. The flavor is reminiscent of authentic Italian aged Parmesan cheese.

I have bought this twice because previous option, not Members Mark, was no longer offered. Both times purchased, the hard spikes of cheese do not melt in cooking and went bad (green) prematurely. As other reviews have stated, green mold appears even with constant refrigeration. Tasteless shards. Since Sam's does not offer other alternative to their own brand, I will not be purchasing here.

If you read labels like I do, you'll see a BIG difference between what's in THIS grated parmesan compared to the usual grocery store brands. There are lots of yucky stuff in the grocery store brands to preserve and keep it 'separated', but NOT in this!

First time I purchased this cheese it molded on me as well. Remedy put container in freezer leaving out small amounts at a time. This molds easily because it does not a lot of preservatives in it which is a GOOD thing! Freeze and enjoy, it tastes AMAZING!
