When you first open the box, a little cardboard may stick to the area where you tear the wrap. If it does, you need to tear it completely off so the wrap can be torn by the metal edge of the carton. Other than that everything is good.

I have used Glad brand Cling Wrap for several years as it is my favorite brand. However, the last two rolls of Cling Wrap I have bought, the quality of the product has gone way down. The plastic sticks to itself, it won't tear along the serrated edge on the box, and the plastic is so thin it sometimes tears when trying to stretch it over a dish. I threw them away. I chalked the first bad roll up to a possible bad batch, but the second bad roll was from a different retailer, in a different size and I still had the same problem. I don't know what happened, but the quality is terrible now. I bought store brand this last time. Very disappointing.

This is a great definite must have for any kitchen. It has kept so many veggies and leftovers fresh for days over. I have been using Glad Cling Wrap for a very long time. My last three rolls had problems: Tear teeth do not work, cardboard box container collapses when you try to rip a sheet because the cutting teeth do not work correctly, starting a new roll is near impossible without wasting a few yards of wrap. I have resorted to using scissors or a utility knife to remove a sheet. You used to have a stellar product but it seems you have adopted the old Saran Wrap manufacturing attributes where the product loves to cling to itself and little else. I also bought your Press and Seal hoping it would be an improvement. It was impossible to get started without first wasting nearly half a roll since it was rolled with uneven lumps on it and nearly impossible to find a place to start it. Whatever happened to the quality lately, please fix it!.

I also like to use it when I travel to ensure my toiletries (shampoo bottles, mouthwash, etc) don’t leak. Very easy to use and doesn’t stick too bad on itself but easily attaches pretty sturdily to surfaces including glass, tinfoil, etc.
