Clingwrap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recieved this cling wrap to try. I like cling wrap alot. It sticks to the bowls pretty good. When wrapping food in it the wrap stays closed pretty well. I like the box it came in. The grove edge cuts the cling wrap really good.

it's all right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't my favorite glad product but nice to have. It sticks fine to itself so works well for wrapping things in it but if you are thinking about putting it on bowl and seal it won't work. Cutting edge is also a disappointment for me.

Totally Satisfied is the new Glad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always been a fan of Glad. It would seem an easy task... to produce a soft, plastic wrap that dispenses easily and seals in your food. Apparently, not so! I've used so many products (when Glad wasn't available) where it was so difficult to find and grasp the end, in order to pull it out of the box, and then even more difficult to cut off the amount you need. Getting the wrap to then stick to the food container was often an impossible task. Once you thought you had it, and left the food in the fridge, you'd often later find that the wrap had separated from the surface. Glad has done a perfect job of removing all of these concerns. The end always seems to be standing up, just waiting to be put into use. The serrated edge cuts a perfect line and, once applied to the bowl/container, the wrap seems to never separate. Couldn't be happier with this product!

Keeps food fresh!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glad cling wrap is one of the better wraps around. It's easy to stretch over bowls to make a seal and great for wrapping sandwiches. I did have a problem with getting it to stay in place while I ripped it. Even after I pushed in the cardboard on the sides for stability. The end of the lid eventually came unglued, without rigorous use and it became more difficult that it should to pull the wrap put and rip it. We still use it all the time because we love to be able to stretch it without it ripping when covering dishes. I would like to see a sturdier lid and lips on the side to hold the roll in place. The blade is great and it does a good job of ripping thought.

A Kitchen Must Have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having ClingWrap in the kitchen is a must have. I bake bread often and use ClingWrap to cover the bowl when I am proofing the dough. Holds perfectly to glass or plastic bowls for keeping leftovers fresh. Or even by itself it holds well around foods and keeps them air tight.

Not glad

Not sure if Glad is aware but the glad wrap is more like not glad wrap. It just fails to cling to bowls or plates. I end up using tin foil in the end. It works on small items like a round veg such as a cut onion. I end up buying more store containers with lids and the box of Glad clear wrap sits in the drawer for evermore.

Keeps food fresh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cling wrap is a must have in kitchen. It keeps my cooked as well as raw food fresh for many days. It seals the containers like a vacuum retaining their freshness and taste. I always use it for left overs and cut fruits and vegetables. I recommend it.

Easy wrapping

While doing my shopping I saw the new Glad bags and decided to give it a try and I'm Glad I did. I had try other brands but wasn't happy at all, however Glad wrap is fantastic. They stick very well , air tight I must say and keep food fresh. I had used it in different items with no problems and even substituted some of my aluminum foil uses for the wrap. Im very happy with it and will continue buy this brand .

Really thin, won't tear. Sad!

I am sorely disappointed, guys. I have used Glad Cling Wrap for a long time. I switched from Saran Wrap many years ago when that product was suddenly thinner than before and didn't stick to things very well. Glad was thicker and I could tear it off nicely. I use it mainly to wrap my squash halves in to microwave them. I just finished up a 300 sq ft roll I'd had for a long time and started the new one I had in reserve. Guys, this is thin and won't tear. It will stretch or give way in the microwave. The only thing that has kept me from trying Press n Seal is -- what kind of residue is it leaving on food? Somebody wrapped a plate of cookies in it, another wrapped loaves of bread in it. It's sticky all right. I just haven't wanted to flip the switch on plastic wrap. I have a roll of Press n Seal to use, so I guess I'll have to take a deep breath and try it. I think in the end it's going to be an exercise in frustration to try to use my new roll of Cling Wrap. I hate to throw out a brand new roll, but nobody's going to want to try using this, trust me.
