After 2 weeks of daily use I can say when used and cared for properly the Tramontina brand performs very well. Any review telling you these don't perform well is either a defective piece or due to error on the user's part. Do the research on prepping the cookware! I'm a novice, but I needed proper cookware to bring my homemade meals to the next level. I'm never going back to coated cookware (except my enamel coated cast iron)! Warm up time isn't very long. Heat retention is better than expected. The pan handles stay cool enough to touch. Dutch oven and stock pot handles DO get hot. Use pot holders or a quality dish towel to move. Cleaning isn't difficult - even removing bits of hamburger that were placed in the hot pan while the meat was still too cold came off with a scrub sponge and mild soap. This is a great set for my family of 5. I didn't need a small sauce pot, but needed the 12in pan. I couldn't find any other sets available that had this specific mix with metal lids for use in the oven at this great of a price. Kudos to Sam's Club for requesting this mix. The finish is nice, but I was only concerned with performance, pieces included, and price point.

This set is an excellent value and perfect for someone just starting out. It compares quite favorably with the All Clad D3 set which costs 3x more. This set also contains extra pieces - The 11 inch frypan and the steamer insert - which are not normally included in the sets except if you buy it from Sam’s Club. This is made in Brazil and I think anyone would be pleased to have the set. The only thing I would caution you on is to check the set carefully when you receive it - one of my lids was damaged in shipment. Tramontina features an excellent warranty on their products.

Love the cookware. I wanted to get away from non stick materials so I read a lot about using Tramontina's stainless steel before trying it. I purchased a single fry pan first to try it out. Followed directions on how to use and clean it and I was very pleased. I used several kinds of oils to fry a variety of things as I tested out the pan. Scrambled eggs stuck once I started moving them around but I expected that. Clean up from the eggs was a breeze, didn't expect that. I use gas so the bottom of the pan got messy. Bar Keepers Friend worked to clean off the mess. Bought the 14-piece set and have already used most of the pieces, all with great results. Gave a 4 because two of the lids were damaged out of the box, small dents that haven't interfered with using them but disappointing. The price was a great find. Overall, I love the cookware.

Out of box quality is very good. Time will tell about durability, but seem to be equivalent to my All-Clad D3 out of the box. I also have an old tri-ply Tramontina pot that was made in china. I've used it heavily for 10+ years and its as good as new. These are made in Brazil instead of China and appear to be equivalent. The handles are different than the old one I have. I actually prefer the handles on these to the All-Clad D3 design. I was looking to supplement the 7 piece D3 set I got because $$$. Very pleased so far.

These pans have been life changing. I love using them knowing they are safe and non toxic. also, there was less of a learning curve than expected and they are much easier to clean than expected. i havent had an issue with handles getting too hot while cooking like others have mentioned.

These pots and pans look and feel great. They seem to take longer to heat up than the old tephlon pans they replaced and don't hold the heat well. They scar easy and small rust spots have started to show after only the first wash.

I am so happy with this set of pans! Exactly what they described and easy to use. Do yourself a favor and buy some Barkeepers Friend. The pans clean up so nicely and always oil them so food doesn't stick. A little practice and you will love them

I am very satisfied. The set conducts heat very well. As long as you preheat the steel for 2 minutes, add little oil, EGGS DON'T STICK. The rest of the food is a breeze to cook. They are easy to clean

Great cookware for induction cooktops, fantastic finish. Easy to clean, remember follow instructions! We tried two other cookware sets from other companies that claimed to work for induction cooktops, be prepared for trial and error.

This cookware is simply outstanding. It is so well made and so easy to clean with pure hot water and a green scrub cloth. It never sticks and cooking on low-medium heat ensures your food never burns and always cooked to perfection.
