I have purchased this product for over 10 years and probably at least 100 tubs. It is a excellent chicken salad and I have never had a bad one. Everyone should always look at the dates before purchasing any perishable product as every Sams goes through different quantities. I don't know where people are saying this is sweet unless they got a bad batch because I never have.

Wow, this chicken salad is so good. Don't hesitate to buy it. Its definetly premium white meat chicken salad. It's full of huge chunks of chicken and has a very thick consistency, not like that yucky thin chicken salad that other brands put out. I will be buying this every time I go to Sams.

There's a Sub Shop in our area that sells a great Chicken Salad Sub that is one of our favorites. About a week ago my wife was shopping in Sams when she saw the owner of the Sub Shop buying supplies for his store. It occured to me that he must be buying his chicken salad from Sams. So my wife looked for it and found this product. Bingo! This is it! Now we can make our own subs! We add raisins and walnuts with lettuce, tomato and onion. Makes a great sandwich or snack on a cracker.

Omg I can't believe this is so highly rated. I think the taste is good but I can't make a sandwich using this without spitting out a few chunks of chicken you can't even bite through, it has nasty grisly pieces and the one piece I pulled out was huge and had a vein or piece of fat/cartilidge or something. I'm about to toss this whole container. Im tired of having to pick through it.

Went to visit my mom and we stopped at Sams to buy a few items. they were doing a sampling of this chicken salad and some wonderful crackers. We ended up buying the salad, crackers and cut up fruit tray. What a wonderful lunch/dinner this made! Will definitely buy this product in the future. Wonderful taste and very filling. Price is right!

I am sorely disappointed in this salad now. This was my favorite item next to rotisserie chicken that I practically buy every shopping visit for the last 8 years. I have noticed a change in formula and flavor year over year resulting in a lesser of quality product. The identifiable excessively large chunks of diced chicken is unappealing. It used to contain an evenly shredded chicken with some small dice chicken. What led me to leave this review was due to my recent experience finding a gross and unappealing rubbery inedible material. What I thought at first was foreign material turned out to be a large piece of rubbery tough chicken skin warranting this bad review. Sam's Club, you need to get on your co-packers about this!

Great to have on hand for a delicious lunch. I'm gluten free so sometimes I just scoop some out to eat plain, or else spread it on gluten free bread or wrap in in a lettuce leaf. It is very satisfying. Probably super high in fat to taste so good - I've decided not to look at the label and spoil it as this is my filling treat!

This is the best chicken salad I've ever found! The taste is fantastic, lots of chicken (big chunks too), and the price is amazing. I bought chicken salad from a local grocery store(it was convenient at the time), it tasted terrible, very little chicken and awful consistency. On top of that...I paid more for half as much!! In short-Look No Further For The Best Chicken Salad Anywhere !!!

I don't generally offer opinions about food items because what tastes good to one person doesn't necessarily taste good to another. Having said that, I picked this item up one afternoon partly on a whim and partly because I was too lazy to prepare anything for dinner that evening. I was hooked. It's just the right amount of flavor but if not enough, you can add a small amount of whatever ingredients you like (maybe a little ranch dressing or spicy mustard). With our without embellishments, this is a good product. Plenty of quality pieces of chicken. There are a lot of onions so if you don't like onions, this may not be to your liking. My only complaint is the size of the packaging. I would strongly recommend they increase the size of the container or lower the price by at least $2.00. I, for one, would purchase more of this product if the price were lower.

Remember the tubs of salad in the old days? Now the shrinkflation has delivered the perfect portion that will last at the just the right amount. Delicious too. Discovered this from a dear old lady providing samples at the Club. The poor man's club, I discovered from the old MN governor, who enlightened us that we were the masses and not the country club, which was devastating, as I never thought I was poor till he said so.
