Omg I can't believe this is so highly rated. I think the taste is good but I can't make a sandwich using this without spitting out a few chunks of chicken you can't even bite through, it has nasty grisly pieces and the one piece I pulled out was huge and had a vein or piece of fat/cartilidge or something. I'm about to toss this whole container. Im tired of having to pick through it.

Went to visit my mom and we stopped at Sams to buy a few items. they were doing a sampling of this chicken salad and some wonderful crackers. We ended up buying the salad, crackers and cut up fruit tray. What a wonderful lunch/dinner this made! Will definitely buy this product in the future. Wonderful taste and very filling. Price is right!

Love this Chicken Salad, but not with pickup. Probably, the people who work with pickup items are told to get the most recent expiring date. I did a pickup order for this on Dec 23 for a family gathering. The gathering was happening the 26th, but I wanted to pick it up early to make sure it was still available. The use by date was Dec 27. Very disappointing. I should have gone in and gotten it myself, but was trying to be cautious before family arrived.

Other than Mom's recipe, the best tasting chicken salad I ever ate. Exceptional value for the price. Label shows wheat as one of the ingredients. Just wish they would make a gluten-free style so other members in our family who are allergic to wheat can enjoy this product as well.

I have purchased this product for over 10 years and probably at least 100 tubs. It is a excellent chicken salad and I have never had a bad one. Everyone should always look at the dates before purchasing any perishable product as every Sams goes through different quantities. I don't know where people are saying this is sweet unless they got a bad batch because I never have.

This is the best chicken salad I've ever found! The taste is fantastic, lots of chicken (big chunks too), and the price is amazing. I bought chicken salad from a local grocery store(it was convenient at the time), it tasted terrible, very little chicken and awful consistency. On top of that...I paid more for half as much!! Great to have on hand for a delicious lunch. I'm gluten free so sometimes I just scoop some out to eat plain, or else spread it on gluten free bread or wrap in in a lettuce leaf. It is very satisfying. Probably super high in fat to taste so good - I've decided not to look at the label and spoil it as this is my filling treat!

I use this chicken salad as a base for my own recipe where I add a can of Members Mark canned chicken breast, Splenda and sliced grapes which I have also reviewed. This chicken salad has good taste, but is a little heavy on mayonnaise which is why, in the words of Emeril Lagasse, have to "kick it up a notch".

I LOVE this chicken salad. I have purchased it several times and it is always consistent. We like the big chunks of real chicken. I have never had any bites of gristle - always fresh ingredients. This is so versatile... On a salad plate with cottage cheese, in a croissant or bread or cracker, as a meal or a snack. Yummmmm

Wow, this chicken salad is so good. Don't hesitate to buy it. Its definetly premium white meat chicken salad. It's full of huge chunks of chicken and has a very thick consistency, not like that yucky thin chicken salad that other brands put out. I will be buying this every time I go to Sams.
