The best I've owned

I have bought so many straightening irons (I have super curly hair), but this beats them all (even more than a really expensive one I have). It heats up super fast, and does a great job on straightening out those stubborn curls. I bought my first one to have at the house in Florida, but ended up bringing it home because I liked it so much. Bought another one here in NY, and will take the other one back to Florida.

My flat iron randomly quit working, and i had a date in less than an hour! So i sent my mom to walmart to pick me up a straightener..Cause lord knows my head is a big poofy mess otherwise! So she came back with this bad boy! I really like it. It gets hot super fast and straightens my kinks. (i have naturally curly/wavy hair. Yuck!) Plus it comes with a little heat protector so you don't burn your house down. :)

Infinity Pro by Conair

Great straightener! It heats up very fast (almost immediately) and sustains the temperature well. The plates ate very smooth and it does NOT pull my hair as other brands did (I bought quite a few of them trying to figure out what to replace my old one with). The cord is long and flexible enough to not tip the straightener to the side. My old straightener was also made by Conair (ceramic) and it lasted for 8 or 9 years until it finally stopped heating up probably because I used to leave it on for too long. Anyway, I tried different brands including CHI but did not like any of them. Some of them were too overpriced and did not offer anything decent for the price tag on them. I finally settled on Infiniti by Conair Professional Heat Solid Ceramic Hair Straightener and very happy with it.

Excellent product.

Aside from the color which I absolutely love, this product delivers. It heats up fast, has large plates and does not pinch my hair. It has four settings and an on off switch. Mine also came with a bonus heat protector, so when I am done using it I can put the sleeve on and not worry about it scorching my furniture or other items. The heat plates do not close super tight but there is room at the end of the plates to hold onto if you want to apply more pressure. I have long, medium thick, wavy hair and it takes about 20 minutes to straighten. I start on the underside of my hair and work my way out. I use the 3rd setting but I think the second setting will be great for touch ups. This straightener has 1 1/2 in plates which is great for people with long hair like me. This probably will not work well on short bangs but mine are longer and I have no trouble straightening them. For the price and the performance this is a great hair straightener. I also use Garnier Hair Protector to help protect my hair from damage. If my hair has too many fly aways after I am done I add a dab of conditioner to my ends.

This is an aWeSoMe Flat Iron!!!

I bought this when I was out of town for a family wedding. It heats up fast, glides through my hair effortlessly, and makes my hair shiny and Gorgeous! I love the 1 1/2 inch plate width. It makes for faster straightening as opposed to the 1 inch. I like the temp settings. My daughter has my old 1 inch flat iron, but I constantly keep finding MY flat iron in her room because she likes it so much. :) The only problem I have with it is I wish the cord were a couple of feet longer.

You get what you pay for.

The flat iron was perfect for a long time but now the paint on the body of the flat iron is chipping away and the plates are still like new. The issue here is that the chipping paint has created a snag attack on my hair. I can’t pass the flat iron plates without my hair grazing the chipped parts. So I have to trash it. I loved it at first. But they focused so much on the plates quality that the other part suffered. Let me be clear for some that think I’m bashing a good product. It is a great flat iron for the price range. But if you want a flat iron that you can keep for a few years this isn’t the one for you.

Nasty not a new iron in the box

Really can not comment on how good the iron works yet. I just opened the box got the iron out and noticed that the paint was scratched on it. The plug was bent and it was dirty. There was dirt in the cracks of the cord and in bend of the iron very gross. It had to have been opened and the one inside stolen and replaced it certainly was not a new one. Makes me a little mad I was looking forward to using it but now have to wait to get a replacement so another week. Maybe this one will be new that i get just floors me that could happen...

Not as good as it used to be! Now just meh.

I bought this hair straightener years ago (2011) and it had lasted me until 2019. So, based on my previous experience with the quality, I decided to purchase it again. Which, it is nowhere near the same from what it used to be. Not only is the color a darker shade of purple now, which I hate because the previous version was a pretty cross between pink and purple, but it also has an unpleasant/burning smell. Not to mention, the plates don't feel as smooth on my hair as they did with the previous version. Personally, I think they produced good quality straighteners to build their reputation at first, but now that they have so many 5 star reviews, have scaled back on the quality to maximize profits. Idk. Just super disappointed because they would have had a customer in me for life if they would have just left it the way it was :/

Best Flat Iron I've Ever Owned

I was going back and forth between a Conair and a Remington flat iron. I kept reading the reviews and comparing the prices. At first glance it seemed like the Remington had more reviews but the prices were higher and the one I was interested in was never in stock so I decided to take a chance and purchase this Conair Infinity iron. I am very glad I gave it a chance. First, I love the size. It is 1.5 inches where the Remington one I wanted only came in 1 or 2 inch sizes. I have long, thick, wavy, and basically, very unruly/frizzy hair. I've always had trouble even with some pro brand irons (ie. BedHead), getting hot enough to actually straighten my hair. This one gets really hot, super fast, and has a heat setting that goes up to 455 degrees. That's the setting I've used and it's been fantastic. I can't believe how easily it straightens my hair. The floating plates glide so smoothly with no snagging and I don't have to go over a section of my hair more than once or twice at the most. (I do use a straightening cream (Lor`eal) and a heat protectant spray (Organix) before I use the flat iron, so these products probably help) While I am sure the Remington irons are good, I am extremely pleased with this Conair flat iron and don't for a minute regret my purchase. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially those with thicker/course hair, because it gets hotter than most other flat irons and it just works as well or better than professional brands and at a fraction of the cost.

I've had for 12 years and going strong

I love this flat iron. It's been true and faithful for over 12 years going. I first used it on my long hair, which was past my butt, and it transformed my hair beyond belief. I've never had an issue with it. I own a few different irons, gifts usually, but only use this one. I had 3 feet of hair cut off, and even with it barely below the ears, the flatiron works wonderfully at this length as well. I wouldn't trade it for any other. My color is a bluish green btw.
