So far so good

got this tv for the bedroom/office area. read all the reviews and have not experienced any of the complaints mentioned. the picture is really sharp and crisp, the audio is spot on and i love that i can watch my amazon prime videos on the television.

Three weeks of Satisfaction

The 32” N5300 has my bedroom television for three weeks. It’s my first smart TV and I love the streaming capabilities and SmartThings connection is a big plus. Picture quality is excellent, there is no noticeable lag. Contrast is perfect except in darken (no lights on) room conditions.

Poor sound

I received this tv a week ago and the sound is so bad. Even at low volume, there is distortion, vibration and there is no bass. it's not a joke, the sound on my cell phone is literally better than the TV. So bad that it ruins movies. I had to buy a sound bar and the tv doesn't come with Bluetooth. Seriously come on Samsung, I thought you were able to do way better then that! The color is great and it's easy to install but that's about it. I bought a Samsung tv 8 years ago and I was impressed by the picture and sound quality, but not anymore. I am very disappointed and next time I will buy with an other company.

Good Picture -- Poor Sound

just what i expected -- easy to set up but the sound is very poor -- i did some research and found out that the poor sound is because this model is much thinner than my old one. my 2008 samsung series 5 (not a smart tv) stopped working properly -- but the sound was much, much better -- so, i am a bit disappointed

Overall quality and price

I bought this TV a month ago and it is working great. I would only hope Samsung TVs would have extra HDMI ports..Mine has two... One for my cable and one for my Blue Ray..I needed another for my PC..Had to get an adapter but then I have to change the input .. Instaed of just direct tuning...

TV can’t crashing our break every other week

Tv worked fine at first after a while the applications did my work and eventually the picture would never show and all I’m left with is a black screen and sound. There were so many issues filing a service request I’m gonna just end up throwing away the tv because it is trash now. And a waste of money.

Good but some problems

The TV lasted for several months when the sound control and speakers failed. It required a new motherboard…and has been alright since then, mostly. But twice garbled sound has appeared again. It’s never played at high volume so we have no idea what causes this. Samsung usually manufactures high quality products (we’ve had several other items). But I can’t recommend this model that highly. When it works it’s good…but how long will that be? Buy an extended warranty if you purchase one.

Start up problems - works great now

When I brought the TV home, it had a perfect picture for about 2 minutes, then got dark. I originally thought I had set something up wrong, but after a few days called customer service. It turns out a couple of ambient light settings were wrong. The CS rep knew exactly what to do. I wish the initial settings wre set up properly. Failing that, I wish I could have found the solution in some of the settings write ups.

Different than other 3 Samsung's and not better.

Had great difficulty in actually setting up. I have three other Samsungs and no problems with any of them. For some reason, I kept getting a response telling me the model was invalid and it was on the back of the TV. SInce then, it stopped working and the fix was to upload software onto a blank flash drive and load that into the TV. I had selected automatic updates at set up. This has been a nightmare!

Power, sound and remote issues

I purchased this tv at Sam's Club a week ago and have had issues with the power since day one. The initial turn on and set up was fine. I turned the tv off and it would not turn back on--manually or with remote. I had to unplug it before it would turn on again. I spent an hour with a Samsung technician and it has been downhill since. The tv does not turn on unless I unplug it. After playing for a while, the sound becomes garbled and/or goes out completely. When the sound disappears I have to use the support option on the remote, do a sound diagnosis before the sound returns. Now the remote will not go to the support option. After reading the reviews, this power issue seems to be a reocurring problem. The picture and features are great, but the power, sound and remote issues are ridiculous for a new tv. Sam's Club opens in two hours, I'm packing the tv up for a return. I'll try one more tv before I give up hope on this model.
