A Samsung household

we've replaced all our tvs with smart tvs to facilitate streaming-only watching. all tvs are samsung, ranging from 32" to 60". excellent picture and decent sound without additional speakers or soundbars (we're not serious movie watchers!). highly recommend samsung products.

Great TV

I Purchased this 32" Samsung LED TV (1080p) to Replace a 10-15 year old 32" Emerson LCD TV (720p) . I had the Emerson mounted on the Wall and wanted the Samsung in the same place. I Couldn't believe the difference in weight, probably a good 15-20 lb. difference. This made putting the New Samsung on the Wall Mount very easy. I have a Rabbit Ear Antenna hooked to it via Coax and am also Streaming. The picture is crisp and clear whether using the Antenna or WiFi. I purchased this TV because I have a 55" Samsung 7 Series (4k) that I really have been happy with for about 4 years. Both TV's have very similar Streaming Bars, Remotes and Onscreen Settings, making it very easy for me to navigate. I have the Smart Things App on my iPhone 12 Pro and it too works flawlessly. Overall, a Great TV. I love it and would recommend it even though I've only owned it a little over a week.

Great for my purpose!

The only problem I personally had was trying to attach the stand/feet. It seemed that the screws didn't want to go in correctly. Picture is great, it is really cool how it lets you use your smart phone to set it up. It is a very technical and able to be personalized if you are into that, personally I am just happy with default settings. The sound is sometimes wonky but I noticed it has more to do with the channels so no issues there. I've owned it for about 2 months now and it is only used in our master bed when me and the kiddo want to lay down or hubby and I do movie night.

Picture is very good

Picture is excelent. sound is so so. the remote controller is terrible. The previous channel button does nothing. I also have another Samsung controller whicih I tried and it also does nothing on the previous channel buttom. i have Spectrum as a provider, there is no way to access "My Library" from the remote controller without closing the Spectrum App, res-starting the Spectrum App

Good TV but....limited apps

I was bummed today when I got the TV home, set it up, and tried to download the Spectrum app and some others that I was interested in. I specifically saw in the other reviews that I could and that's why I got it. This particular model number (N5300) is not on the compatable model number for the apps that I wanted. So beware and check ahead of buying if this would be a problem for you. Otherwise, the TV seems to be nice and was easy to set up.

Not the best picture quality

I bought this N5300 to replace a Samsung 32 TV that I bought 12 years ago that stopped working. That TV was also a 1080p, but I can't figure out why an old Samsung TV from 12 years ago. Had a better picture than the N5300 I just purchased! I've tried adjusting the picture every way possible, movie, standard, dynamic, natural. I've adjusted the contrast, color, sharpness, brightness, and the picture still looks bad. If I didn't know any better I would say this is not a 1080p, but a 720p TV. That old Samsung TV, had a picture that was light years ahead of this Samsung N5300, and I dont understand why.

It's a beautiful TV. Very clear and the options it has are unlimited when it comes to being smart. Only one thing that's keeping me from giving it 5 stars. I've already had to unplug and restart it because it would not turn on with the remote control. After that it worked fine. Other then that it is perfect and a great buy.

Picture goes out & have to unplug & plug back

The unit is very light. It was easy to set up, the stand is not very sturdy. Even though the speaker is in the back the audio is good. The only problem is the picture does not display on an intermittent interval. I continually have to unplug the cord and plug back in for the picture to display. Annoying. I haven't had a chance to try any of the apps.

Good in parts; Needs an on-off switch/better guide

Good things: picture quality generally and availability of apps and ease of access. Bad things: if you want to turn it off properly you have to turn it off at the wall. When you do that you lose some of your saved channels in your profile. It is offensive & irresponsible, given climate change, to have to leave the TV on standby. There also ought to be a feature, like there was on my Panasonic TV, where you can filter the guide to show “films”, “drama” etc. rather than scrolling through everything. Finally, The colour settings are not consistent across the channels-the factory settings are far too lurid and I have to mess about with the settings sometimes when I change channels. On balance, I preferred my Panasonic, but they didn’t make a 32 inch TV which was full HD.

Great Looking & Reliable 32”

I've had this tv going on 3 years now. I’m not sure if there’s a difference between this and the 43” but I’m happy w my 32” and had to chime in on the low star reviews. The only reason I deducted a star is the brightness can be quirky. This TV adjust for ambient light and does a good job in general but can overcompensate, especially with getting dark. Not the biggest gripe but can be annoying once in a blue. The IR sensor is in a bad location under the tv, so if it’s sitting flat, nuff said. But I’ve only moving it around to sit outside, no biggie. The picture is great! It’s very clear and crisp. I’ve only used a few apps and like the live channel app. This is my work monitor so I don’t watch too much tv on it but I forget if I’m sitting at my desk if I do. This is my 4th Samsung and all of them are still working great, even the 12 y/o one. I would suggest it/buy another.
