I used this product for over 30 years. The last 2 buckets I purchased were a fine fine powder and not the granulated product I am used to using. It has created a film on the top of the barrel in the washing machine that needs to be scrubbed off. Sad to say after so many years I will be moving on to a different detergent. Who ever decided to re-formulate this project made a very unwise decision.

I don't understand the reason of all good reviews, this detergent is the worst of all the detergents. Smells ok but doesn't clean the clothes at all, doesn't matter how much you use, just doesn't work. The price is great but it is waist. I just put half of the product in the trash because is not worth to keep using it. I was even doing my laundry in longer cycles trying to get the clothes cleaned but not even doing that this detergent was working. Don't waist your money.

I have used this for YEARS! I would say 10 or 15 years. A bucket lasts me at least a year, I have soft water so only a teaspoon will do a load. I have very sensitive skin and NO PROBLEMS. I laugh at my parents who have to get Tide. They are always filling a cart with it. Imagine all those plastic bottles filling the landfill, because the liquid detergent is mostly WATER!! But worse, that is your pocketbook!! This detergent works great. I use a little Borax with it, I line dry everything. Baking soda would work, too. No stains, no smells. Amazing!!! So cheap!!!

Has anyone's clothes turned blue with the use of this detergent? Since using it has turned all our whites blue and other colored fabrics blue tinted. It is every load, and I've even tried other detergents in between to make sure it wasn't something in my washer.

I started using this and I really like it a lot mainly because of the size and the amount of loads that it does. Sometimes it’s just not in stock and I have to wait until it gets in stock again because I always like having an extra container just in case I run out.

Bought it yesterday, washed three loads today and I'm super disappointed . When you open the container it smells nice, but after the laundry was washed on the hot circle, it smells musky and its not coming from my machine. With the first load I washed a dish towel with dry egg yolk, you can still see a tiny yellow spot. Second load I washed my scrubs with a pen marker on my pocket, guess what? it didn't came out. The third load, I drew with a permanent marker on an old towel, treated 5 minutes with a spot cleaner and than washed it and nothing came out. Now I have a 5 gallon bucket with useless powder at home.

Firstly, don't use as much at they tell you. I say this with all detergent but especially this one. A little goes a long way. A little less than half a scoop for a full load is perfect. This is the best laundry detergent I have ever used. It cleans my clothes, no weird laundry stains. And the best part is that I bought this 6 months ago and still have half the container. This has lasted us 5 months of three adults washing clothes and the last two months it has been three adults and a newborn, if you can imagine the extreme amount of laundry we're doing. Spend the 20 bucks, it'll last you almost a year.
