I never review things online, but I bought the new cookie dough without realizing that there was a new recipe. I then saw all of these negative reviews online and was freaked out that I wasted my money. I baked the cookie dough...and I honestly don't know why there's such outrage. The cookies baked the same for me, and I didn't notice any discernible differences from the old recipe. There wasn't a bad aftertaste. I LOVE dessert and think that the whole natural/gluten-free/organic craze is a scam, but I truly thought this cookie dough tasted the same as the original. Based on the one roll I bought (and have now finished), I won't be deterred from buying it again in the future. 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product taste amazing. The cookies came out as if I made the dough homemade. I highly recommend for a quick solution to homemade cookies. The dough spread a bit, so I baked them in a muffin tin, which prevented the dough from spreading. The cookies came out uniform in shape.

Please, please go back to the original recipe. I’ve been eating these for over 15 years and both me and my son (who loves anything chocolate chip) threw them in the trash. While I understand you’re trying to get rid of the artificial ingredients, it now has an artificial taste! He original recipe was more authentic, sweeter, and flavorful. I hate to switch brands but I cannot support buying his product that tastes bland, bitter and dull.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the simplicity of these cookies. My granddaughter made these at our home and was thrilled. They came out of the oven beautiful, hot and easy to transfer to a plate. They were all eaten very quickly.

This has been my favorite snack since I've been able to use an oven unsupervised. My wife purchased these cookies on her regular trip to the grocery store. That night unknowing that the recipe had changed I told my wife that the cookies did not taste right. Needless to say, I do not like the new recipe and I would like to have the option of purchasing the old recipe. Please consider this!!!!

I have been a loyal customer of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookies for over 40 years. This new recipe has to be the worst cookie I have ever tasted. I a not trying to be rude, I am simply telling you the truth. Please, if you have any decency for your customers, change back to the previous recipe. You are loosing customers by the day and this is a very sad thing as we use to love your cookies and looked forward to eating them. we do not eat cookies for health reasons, I eat them for pleasure. I eat right so I can enjoy a treat, and these use to be it. I cannot stress enough the importance of you changing back to the previous goodness and make us all happy again. Your loyal fans are begging you to please listen and change back...

I really wanted to like the new recipe, but I don't. No one in my family does. When I made cookies with the old recipe, they disappeared fast. Less than an hour after they came out of the oven, they were gone. I made the "new recipe" chocolate chip cookies three days ago and still have a bag full. That has never happened. I'm afraid to try the sugar.

The new recipe is atrocious. It was bad enough when you changed the chocolate chips. This new overhaul is terrible. I've been eating Pillsbury cookies since I was a child. When eating cookies I really doubt the majority of people care about being "healthy." Like seriously? Just because people who complain make a lot of noise doesn't mean they are the majority. I mean, did you do any actual data research? You really think the majority of people want healthy cookies? Not to mention, more than anything people HATE change. Not only is this change but it's change for the worse. Just ugh. I wish I could give no stars. It's like trying to make gluten free cake or gluten free bred. Just don't. Don't try and make healthy cookies. Seriously.
