So EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to your loyal customers. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL RECIPE!! I settled for buying from your competition (Toll house), they are not as good but definitely better than what you are trying to sell now.

I think this new choc chip cookie dough recipe tastes just fine baked and unbaked. I know you can't recommend eating it raw but everyone does anyway and the benchmark for me is being able to stand to eat it raw. This new recipe also bakes nicely. I never liked the old pillsbury recipe because I thought it tasted highly artificial, I applaud Pillsbury for taking such a bold step in removing the artificial ingredients and HFCC from such a high profile product! It's a shame so many supposedly die hard fans of the old dough seem to dislike it. I think it's good enough to fool some people into thinking they were homemade, and I usually make my own from scratch and not with the Tollhouse recipe but using Baker's Choc chip cookie recipe from the 1960's. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to more natural products from Pillsbury.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with LadyMidnight.  I too have been around awhile and have tried many of the premade cookie doughs.  Pillsbury Chocolate Chip was absolutely the best...until now!!  I agree with LadyMidnight,  when I eat a cookie, I don't want it to be "healthy"!  Reminds me of going to family get togethers where there was a delicious spread of food, and somebody brings "baked" potato chips or "light" dip!  YUCK!!  I'm all about keeping it healthy but family get togethers isn't one of them, nor when I eat a cookie!! Bring back the original Pillsbury Chocolate Chip cookie dough in the dark blue wrapping!  When I'm at the store and I see that baby blue wrapping on the new Pillsbury cookie dough, I walk right on past...cause I know what lurks inside!!  I'm sad I've lost a quick and delicious way to whip up some cookies.  You've lost me as a cookie customer. Being 100% honest!!

I very rarely go though the trouble and actually take time to post a review. However, I am so disappointed with Pillsbury in this instance I feel it necessary. I didn't have to read far down the review list to see a lot of folks with similar feelings as my own, and that if my wife and kids. The new recipe is just awful. If you want details, just keep reading the reviews below, it's all there, over and over and I agree 100%. Unfortunately I will not be buying these treats for my family anymore because they simply don't like them enough to eat them. With the old recipe, we would run over each other to get the last one. It's not like the new recipe just isn't quite as good, it's a significant drop off. At the very least bring back the old recipe in tandem. It's sad, they've been around, and been so good for so long and then, poof gone, who would have thought??

Good as grandmas chocolate chip cookies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the refrigerated pillsbury cookie dough! I have a Wilton circular cookie pan and this dough cooks to perfection in it! It tastes just like My grandmas chocolate chip cookies! I’m able to get it out easily and my grandkids devour it!

So easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is great because it is pre-cut so that each cookie is the same size. Perfect amount of chip in every bite. I highly recommend because it is so easy even my grandson can help make them.

I grabbed these thinking it was just new packaging, when I cooked these (because the original recipe was our favorite!) my husband and I thought they were out of date. Went and looked and realized the date was fine but the recipe had changed. If you were trying to appeal to those who want a "healthy cookie" make it, but keep the original for those of us that want a good tasting cookie and not some rotten dough, foul tasting piece of garbage. The other tastes like it has gone bad and we will no longer be buying pillsbury products until the original recipe comes back.

Disappointing. I was so excited to get some pillsbury cookies and got a bit scared when I saw the package saying the recipe has changed. This version is no longer gooey in the inside and crispy on the outside, but rather more cake-like and you can tell as soon as you pull them out of the oven. Flavor is okay, but now they just kind of taste like every other chocolate chip cookie out there...they're not special like they used to be.

You need to take a lesson from New Coke and not mess up something that has been perfect for years. This new recipe is terrible.  If demand is so high for these "healthier cookies" then put them side-by-side the original in the store and see which sells better. My son has to sell cookie dough for school as a fundraiser and my wife made some last week and they're really bad, so I went to the store and bought some Pillsbury so I could have a real chocolate chip cookie... I was so disappointed... I think maybe that junk from the school is better.
