I think this new recipe is terrible.  We made these cookies at least once a week, not anymore.  Terrible terrible terrible!  If you are a cookie fanatic, these are not it.  I am not a fan of tollhouse either, so I hope that Pillsbury will rethink this recipe!  YUK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these cookies and usually keep a package in the freezer so can quickly make cookies for unexpected guests. I always take a. batch when I visit my grandson every 6 weeks or so and wouldn't dream of arriving without them. I like the crunch of them and to me, have a brown sugar taste. Yummy.

I signed up to this site just so I could express my dissatisfaction for the new cookie recipes. I gave one star only because I can't give it 0. I have been baking these chocolate chip cookies as long as I can remember. Every time I've made them for outside the home at least one person has commented on how they are the best chocolate chip cookie they've ever had. This new recipe is lacking taste. I will not buy them again. I'll buy one of the other brands available, that aren't as good as the old chocolate chip recipe, but by far better than the new recipe. As for the "healthier" ingredients, if I was eating healthy, I wouldn't be eating cookies. I am extremely disappointed Pillsbury.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly love these cookies! They are great to bake when you’re in a pinch. Also, you can bake a couple or the entire bag. Very convenient to have around the house for a quick dessert by themselves or with some ice cream! Oh, and the taste is a 10 out of 10. Just like homemade!

This new recipe is terrible! I know there are some out there who will like this perhaps you can satisfy both parties by having a simple/clean/natural version (this new terrible recipe) and the original version. Similarly to how Keebler’s kept their original products and added the simply made versions to their line. As I fear you will loose a huge amount of regular die hard customers with this new recipie. I tried really hard to like it even made it more than once but I can’t so for now I will have to begin exploring other brands. 

Did not save my receipt.  Couldn't imagine Pillsbury making anything bad.  HOWEVER, You blew it.  This was like when Coke tried to change the age old recipe.  Ask them how that worked.  If someone was requesting a healthier (?) version, by all means keep going.  HOWEVER, PLEASE at least offer the option of the original OR the new improved (NOT) dough.  I feel betrayed after decades of satisfaction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing cookie dough for eating, and it’s great baked too. However, it doesn’t bake very well. It doesn’t spread like it’s supposed too and it’s extremely easy to overcook because it doesn’t like to brown.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quick and easy cookie dough! We put it all in one cast iron skillet and baked it. Once out of the fridge we topped w chocolate syrup vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and my whole family shared it w spoons and a smile.

Horrible!!!!!  Why would you do this?  I agree with "Lady Midnight." There are so many wonderful memories tied to these cookies....you ruined that!  They don't even smell good when they are cooking.  Usually my family gets all excited when I baked Pillsbury cookies....they did not even want to taste the "New Recipe."  I am over 50 years old and thought that I would be making your cookies with my grandchildren.  If you keep this recipe, that will never happen.  We only baked one cookie sheet of the "New Recipe" and we threw them out.  I was willing to give it a try, but they do not even taste like cookies.  The whole family is upset and very sad.  My mother was not a baker, but she always made your cookies and there was nothing better.  The memories of her letting me help are so special to me.  Now my daughter and I love to make them together. PLEASE do not do this.
