For as long as I can remember, my family has been making Pillsbury chocolate chip cookies. They are my absolute favorite. As an adult, I admit I’ve tried other recipes but I’ve never liked any other chocolate chip cookies. When I saw the recent product change I trusted that it would be just as good as the original. Boy, was I ever wrong. They are AWEFUL!!! Seriously aweful!      My fingers are crossed that you will realize your mistake and restore our beloved cookie dough recipe OR at least hear the cries from your loyal customers and OFFER BOTH. PLEASE!!! Don’t take away one of my childhood connections to family, food, and fun times. Don’t take away the only chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever enjoyed!

OMG! What was Pillsbury thinking? You ruined a great product that I've loved for decades...since I was a child. I'm 60 years old now and, due to the stupidity of whoever made this corporate decision, I will no longer be purchasing any Pillsbury products. Is anyone at Pillsbury familiar with the Coke debacle in the 80's? I will now be making my own chocolate chip cookies or buying Nestle's refrigerated dough. So sorry your company made this mistake.

Texture is different. Taste is NOT awful but this is the first time they've ever left an after taste. A BAD after taste. I have been eating your cookies for over 30 years and this is the FIRST time that I've had to go out and buy Nestle Tollhouse to see if I could get acclimated to those. You really need to go back to the perfection I used to call Pillsbury. My child smelled them cooking and she thought they smelled like BREAD! Not cookies! Bread! Not a good switch AT ALL.

Literally not sure how all these reviews are bad, and with the degree of which the user explains how bad makes you believe that the new cookie dough recipe has offended both themselves and their family. Obvious plants or people just looking for an argument to fill their day. This product is great! I've had these cookies since i was young and even with the new recipe the taste remains solid and familiar. Sure it's change a bit, but so has literally every other food product on the market. I appreciate items like this for people like me who are not cooking inclined. If you don't like it, stop being lazy and go home brew your own dough.

I am honestly shocked that there are so many negative reviews, because I LOVE the new recipe!!! We bought the value size of the dough and it still wasn’t enough! We went out and got more because they were so good. I honestly used to hate Pillsbury cookie dough but only bought it because it was cheaper than the alternative, but when I saw there was a new recipe, I decided to give it another shot. And now it’s my first choice! I love it. Thanks for taking out all of the artificial stuff, I think it paid off! At least it did in my household!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compare to other cookie dough, pillsbury is the softest and better tasting cookie. When they’re ready to eat they so crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, nothing better for a chocolate chip cookie.

PLEASE go back to your old cookie recipe!   The new ones are terrible.  I made a batch not realizing that the recipe had changed and couldn't figure out what was wrong (was the package expired?  did I have the oven on the wrong setting?).   The consistency and taste were NOT good.   I'm still able to buy the dough in the original recipe at some stores, but when it's gone you will have lost yet another customer (we probably bake these cookies a couple of times a month).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these Pillsbury dough cookies. I purchase about twice packs every two to three weeks. They are so soft, hot and yummy. It has chocolate chips in every bit. I bake them almost every night they are delicious.

I made your Pillsbury™ Chocolate Chip Refrigerated Cookie Dough. It called for a temp of 350 degrees, As the last time I made them at this temp, they burned, I lowered the temp to 325. They were places in the center rack of the oven. This time half of the cookies burned and half were raw. I checked my oven and the temp is correct. Could there have been a problem with the recipe of the cookies?
