My husband and I were so looking forward to having cookies for dessert tonight. We were deciding between toll house and pilsbury scoop and bake and after a little coxing, I convinced my husband to get the Pillsbury against his wishes. I informed my husband that these are always the ones I get because they are the best! Unfortunately, I did not realize that it was a new recipe. I wish we went with the toll house.... this new recipe is awful. I do not understand why pilsbury would want to change their scrumptious chocolate chips! I will not buy them again. I am actually a little heart broken that I will never be able to taste my favorite cookies again. 

HORRIBLE - I created this account just to leave a review on how terrible the "new" recipe is.  Historically, I only used Pillsbury brand because the taste and smell were delicious.  The second half of this roll was tossed, uncooked.  I will not be buying anymore unless I notice the old recipe is brought back, until then I'll just have to deal with Tollhouse - which is FAR better than what I just ate.  I type this as I have a horrible aftertaste in my mouth. Just gross.

I don't know which of your brainiacs thought putting the raw cookie dough on an ungreased cookie sheet was a good idea, but they should be fired. PLACE cookie dough rounds about 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. There I fixed it for you. Other than that, the cookies were good.

I truly do not understand the low reviews!These have truly been the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. Perhaps others are over cooking them? They must be cooked so that the bottoms are lightly brown and the tops are stuff puffy-- they will settle while cooling. They are the perfect mix of soft and crunchy when fresh and stay soft for the next couple of days, and are great for dipping in milk- half a cookie at a time, or it will fall apart. I truly love this taste and hope that they don't get rid of this!

If I could rate this failed attempt on a classic taste a zero, I most definitely would.  I too have been a Pillsbury lover for several years (two decades to be exact) and to find myself in the cookie aisle at 10 pm, only to return home and taste the worst cookie in my life, is a shame.  I feel a mix of hurt, confusion and betrayal.  I no longer have faith in this brand or this particular product.  I wish your new direction the best and guess it was fun while it lasted... but it didn't last long enough.  In the future, consider giving your most loyalist consumers a heads up.  Guess I'll have to give Tollhouse the business they've been looking for and also find creative ways to reminisce with my future children about the good ol' days of cookie making.  Please excuse any grammatical errors as I was typing with maximum attitude. Who doesn’t want to eat cookie dough before it’s baked? We’ve been buying pillsbury cookie dough for years and years and will not be stopping anytime soon! I would highly recommend this product!

I used to love the old recipe for these cookies! I bought these, and did not know the cookies now have a new recipe. This one tastes absolutely awful, I might as well just buy chips ahoy! If I could have put zero stars, I would have. So disappointing. I hope they make the old cookies available for purchase. 

I have never reviewed anything in my life before, and made an account specifically to leave this review. I was a loyal customer for 27 years, and has crushed my soul- SHAME ON YOU- SHAME! Ive boycotted for 2 years and still no hint to admit your mistake, just seeing that light blue case in the store makes me want to throw up (stocks are ALWAYS full too, no one buying). Please, I'm on my knees begging, change the recpie back. I hope God forgives you, because I cannot. 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cookies were not only easy to make but very tasty. My husband loves fresh baked cookies and these are perfect to keep in the fridge. I don't make them all at once and just pop 6 in at a time for a late night snack. i can even add to them to change them up. We have made ice cream sandwiches with them, put a Hershey kiss in the middle after they have been baking a few minutes or melted marshmallows in between them. They are very versatile and so simple and quick to make. The only thing i would change is the size. they are not very big but we just combined some of the dough to make a biggee one for the ice cream sandwich.

As a raw cookie dough, it's very good. Although, I never had a problem eating it raw before you used pasteurized eggs and cooked flour. However, when i actually baked cookies with the dough, they were underwhelming. I can but cookies in the cookie aisle that I don't have to bake, that will taste just as good. The good news is, you may have forced me to learn how to bake cookies from scratch.
