I grabbed this on a whim and I’m so glad I did. I am now 15 minutes from hot cookies anytime I want. I like them a little overbaked. I don’t find them super oily like some have said. They’re not winning any baking prizes but they’re tasty, warm, and on my plate, which is well worth the $11. It tastes good unbaked as well.

Cookies definitely have a fish taste to them from the oils used as ingredients. The taste is a solid 2.5/10. The fish taste hits you immediately and may cause a slight gag reflex for those who are sensitive to fish. The taste lingers in your mouth for about 3 minutes.

I have been buying this for years, however the one I use to purchase was in a different color tub. It had a lot of blue on it. When shopping at sams a couple of weeks ago I bought what I thought was the same cookie dough and that Pillsbury had just changed the container. It was not the same chocolate chip cookie dough in that brown and tan container. I don?t know what Pillsbury did to it but that stuff I just bought was terrible tasting. The color wasn?t even the same. It was the worse chocolate chip cookies we ever tasted. They need to change back to what it use to be like. I only made 12 cookies and we only took a bite out of one cookie and the 12 I made Plus the tub of dough went in the trash. What a waste.

This cookie dough is so hard!!!! It feels like you are chiseling out ice. I left it out on the counter for an hour to see if it would soften up. It was still so hard that I broke my cookie scoop trying to make cookies. It is a totally disappointing product.
