As an artist, this method of drawing pencil is my favorite. These wax pencils layer and blend nicely. Hey Sam's Club, stock more Prismacolor supplies, like colorless wax blender pencils, pencil holders, a larger box (which offers even more colors) of Prismacolor wax pencils.

These color pencils blends unlike other color pencils. This set has a large selection of beautiful colors and finishes with a clean look. It's softer core allows for easy blending that requires having to sharpen pencils more frequently that other pencils but the ease to blend and results make it worth it. To get 37 quality color pencils which are highly rated in my independent research at Sam's Club pricing is an unbelievable find. Great for kids interested in art.

1. Please carry the 150 pack!! I need more colors. 2 Search online and learn how to use these (blending, best paper, technique etc) - they are not the colored pencils you grew up with. 3. I cannot emphasis the color saturation of prismacolor pencils enough. No picture does it justice. 4. Highly worth the investment if you teach yourself how to use them to their potential.

I purchased the Prismacolor colored pencils for my teenage daughter. She draws a lot in her free time and uses different mediums. Although she had some colored pencils, I wanted to get her some that were artist quality. I had read positive reviews regarding the Prismacolor brand and the price was great in comparison, so I made the purchase. I'm glad I did because my daughter loves them. She said that they blend well and i have noticed how much more vibrant and smooth her artwork is when she uses her Prismacolor pencils versus her other brands. I highly recommend these for anyone that is looking for an upgrade from the standard colored pencil.

These are the best color pencils. Have been using this brand for the past 45 years, colors don't fade - remain bright. Have different shades and if one runs out, you can buy replacements.
