I purchased the Prismacolor colored pencils for my teenage daughter. She draws a lot in her free time and uses different mediums. Although she had some colored pencils, I wanted to get her some that were artist quality. I had read positive reviews regarding the Prismacolor brand and the price was great in comparison, so I made the purchase. I'm glad I did because my daughter loves them. She said that they blend well and i have noticed how much more vibrant and smooth her artwork is when she uses her Prismacolor pencils versus her other brands. I highly recommend these for anyone that is looking for an upgrade from the standard colored pencil.

these are of great quality my original purchase was delivered damaged and Sams Club immediately replaced it with no problem. aThese sharpen well and have very vibrant colors when on black and white paper. Highly recommend.

I love these pencils. I had a tin of prismacolors gifted to me before I made this purchase and loved the quality. I saw this price and it couldn't be beat, so I bought them. There were none that were damaged or broken. They have colors to blend that make up perfect skin tones and enough variety to not feel like you're missing anything.

This is a really nice starter set of quality colored pencils. I purchased for a family member who is excited about art and trying new mediums, textures and art tools. This set is a great starter for a new artist in the making. Happy I purchased, maybe should have gotten one for myself.

This is my first set of Prismacolor and I really enjoy using them. They feel soft to color and it has vibrant colors. The quality of the barrel is not perfect but good enough. No broken pencils so far. Color range? I would have replaced the metallics for grays (silver and gold).

Just not the same quality as the ones I bought several years ago. I purchased the Prismacolor pencil sharpener. It works well for some colors, but not for other colors. Lots of breakage with this set, yet I don’t have this issue at all with my older set.

I have had these color pencils before and live them. I was so happy to find them at Sam's. One problem with some of the pencils is they break way down when you are sharpening them which is really annoying. Regardless, I still love them but wish they were a little stronger to withstand the sharpening process.

Prismacolor pencils are the best.

love the pencils but there was a couple that just crumbled while using them. definitely not cool
