No on off for unit. Water heats constantly. Carafes are very thin glass.

I like the size of it but it was too tall to fit under my cabinet with the pot on top burner

We have used the cheaper machines for years and have had to replace them every year or two, but this time we spent more and as of right now it seems as though we've made a good purchase that will last multiple years. And, most importantly this machine makes a darn good cup of coffee very very quickly.

Setup the machine per the instructions and BAM....Leaked from the top on two sides. I am not talking about a drip or two, it was a steady stream as the water heated. Figuring maybe it needed time to adjust the water level inside I left it on two hours. The leaking stopped but once I added more water per the instructions to make coffee the leaking started up I am taking it back to Sam's for a refund. I was disappointed in the product and believed it was quality before purchasing but now....I will pass it on by and spend my money on a coffee ninja machine. Buy at your own risk!

There is a reason why Bunn coffee pots are so popular in restaurants. Bought this in my local Sam's Club for the office to replace a ten year old leaky residential Bunn coffee pot. To the old coffee pot's credit it had made more coffee, in the last year alone, than it had EVER been designed to make in a dozen lifetimes. The new pot is a monster. Ridiculous easy set up. Makes nice yummy coffee faster than anyone can drink it. Sams has a better price than anyone around too. So....if you go through a ton of coffee on a daily basis this'll fill the bill nicely.

We bought our Bunn and started out with problems like some have described. Loud water heating, leaking, and sputtering water. We called Bunn and they knew exactly what to do. Loosen the two top screws and remove the top cover plate. Inside there’s a knob like on a car stereo. Turn down to 3/4 and reassemble. This controls The heat of the water for high elevations. We just had to lower the temp. Instant fix!
