Cannot beat the price

Don't buy this for a VW TDI Diesel even though it's the recommended battery. Car won't turn over below -20C, which unfortunately happens all too often. This battery is also quite a bit shorter/smaller than the OEM battery so I suspect the "group 48" size means it is *not* larger than a "group 48" hole... just like I will fit in "waist size 50" jeans... technically true but my pants fall down.

buyer beware. online shows 139.99 (and clearly says proces may vary in store) and it wont let you order for pickup. And when at store it is 199.99, $60 is the "vary" hope it is a decent battery, i guess time will tell.... not a grrat value, should have stuck with Walmart automotive, but Sams was closer.

This is the replacement for the original battery purchased (original lasted 1 1/2 yrs) this battery lasted less than 8 months. Brought back for warranty, was told it was 'bad' - frozen because we didnt drive car for 2 days (we live in Michigan, it gets cold here) %26 that Sams Club doesnt warranty a frozen battery. The person working @ the counter did push thru the warranty for another replacement for us , which we are greatful for. Would not recommend buying these batteries from Sams Club

I use this size for both vehicles and our stand-by generator too. All three are over 4 years of use and still holding charges very well, I test them each year for the coming winter season. We could buy other batteries, but why spend more than needed? The warranty is very good, and we have never used it, but Duracell, one of the better brands out there.

Two months ago my Sam’s battery went bad in my Chevy suburban and it only lasted 10 years and six months. Today the battery went bad in my wife’s Chevy equinox and it lasted almost 6 years. I’ve been pleased with Sam‘s batteries for our cars for 30 some years cannot beat the price for the quality of battery.

I bought this battery less than two years ago and even though it's a 36 month battery, it's already completely dead. My local club could not do anything until tomorrow, so I'll see then how good their warranty is. I purchased this one because I thought Duracell was a good brand. I wish I would have read some of the reviews before I bought this because I would have spent a little more for a better battery. The customer service is also bad. I couldn't talk to anyone at the local club and was rerouted to a foreign call center and could barely understand the representative.

Online test show that these are not rated very well, but my car needed a battery when these were on sale. The sale price made it the cheapest solution in town for any battery with the same warranty, so I will take a chance and hope that it dies before the warranty is up. At least that way I will get 2 for the price of one. If it goes badly I will update this review.

My local SAMS auto dept do a fantastic job. I am always very happy with quick resolve when they are able. Today as well, efficiently installing my new battery today for me. Great job!

I find it funny how people rate a battery poorly based on a vehicle that has an obvious electrical issue (i.e. parasitic drain.) I'm about to replace a 6.5 year old Duracell H6 with new. These are great batteries.
