I bake quite a bit & use this butter. I get great reviews for my baked goods. I usually use a pound when baking cookies. More convenient than having to open 4 individual sticks & scraping them. Only wish Sam's would sell salted blocks.

One WHOLE pound of butter ~ I thought it was divided into quarters!!  It is a pain to have to cut off Tablespoons when using for a recipe!!  Will NOT purchase again!

ONE POUND PIECE OF BUTTER!!!

When cooking, I don't need the extra hassle of opening a stick of butter. Also, I do not like to work with the paper on a partial stick of butter. After a while, I know how much to cut off for the recipe. Also, I use a scale for measurements of ingredients.

Easier to use

This butter has a weird taste this the second time buying it and just to see if the first time was bad. But this second time was the same, will not buy again

Odd flavor

I debated between this and another butter offered by Sam's Club, finally deciding on this one. When I grabbed it to start my holiday cooking I noticed it is not sticks as I normally purchase but was once big block of butter. That is great if I was a professional cook but my recipes are in sticks of butter. I managed to cut the block into fourths and still use it in my recipes and it was fine, just another step. As for the quality, I think it is a great deal for the price. I think next time I will skip it however because I prefer the sticks. Still, it is the same quality as the sticks. I wish the labeling was a bit clearer that these were the big blocks so I would know not to choose this package.
