Unfortunately, someone packed two packages of these, damaged. They were not damaged in shipment. The box's were open and looked liked something had chewed on the box's or forklift damage. The cans were dented and some so bad that it looked like a knife sliced them.

Good but always pricey

This stew tastes pretty good. Not great, but definitely good. I know because we create our own stews and pressure can them to store in our pantry. Of course the homemade stews are much tastier because we make them to our own tastes with better ingredients. BUT, for the money, you can't go wrong with this stew. Those reviewers who expect gourmet stew out of a store bought can are simply being unreasonable. Buy this for your food storage, you won't go wrong. Just don't expect gourmet stew from a mass produced store bought brand. It tastes good just not great. 4 stars. Perfect for food storage. Hope this helped!

My husband loves this beef stew. I like it because he heats it up all by himself!
