I received this as a free product from the manufacturer in return for an honest review and, I have to admit, I wasn't really expecting too much. However, when it hit the plate I was pleasantly surprised. The texture was great, it smelled delicious and it tasted just right. I was delightfully surprised at how tasty this meal turned out. I ate mine with freshly mashed potatoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got this product, I was delighted to see a pop top which makes it so much easier to open when you're in a hurry and need a quick lunch. The gravy is good and thick, very flavorful, the potatoes and carrots are firm and not grainy in the least and the beef is good as well, not fatty. All in all it's a good lunch or dinner for that matter.

I have enjoyed Dinty Moore beef stew since childhood and I'm glad to have the opportunity to receive it now and heartily recommend it to others.

We hadn't bought this in years but decided to try it again. The first few cans were great but the one I opened last night literally had 2 pieces of beef in it. I kept stirring it as it cooked and looking for more but the two pieces were it. The taste is fine but I wouldn't call it "beef" stew.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have to say i wasn't to sure about the beef stew but i have to say it was very flavorful you could taste the beef chunks the vegetables were soft not hard like some products gravy was nice and thick not runny at all. all in all it was a great stew full of flavor

My parents are big doomsday believers and are trying their hardest to shape me into one. They requested that I went out and got a few cans of these, and now that we're cracking into them after a good 8 months because we're not moving. The can said "Best by october, 2018" but it tastes absolutely awful! It tastes as if someone poured a pint of salt into it and it has a real grainy texture. I also agree with most of the people on here, raise the price, bring the real meat back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Surprisingly good taste from a can, and over 10 Grams of Protein too! There were only 5 small chunks of meat, in the two serving can, so I would suggest dividing it accordingly. Also, I would make some biscuits to go along with it, if you want it to come closer to a meal, but in a pinch, with no time to prepare a meal, this will be good to have on the shelf!

I've eaten beef stew since I was little, my siblings didn't really like it but me and my father love the stew. Even though I have tasted the change I still love it. I usually a picky eater but I will eat beef stew any time of day. (I ate four things of the trays and I don't regret it.)

I have tried a bunch of different canned brands of stews and this one tasted great! It was hearty enough to fill me for lunch which is what I used it for. I would buy this again if I was in the market for canned stew type products. I would recommend this stew to anyone looking for a good hearty stew.
