Bags had large pieces of what appeared to be concrete. Don't think thesewill do my water sotener any good.

At order I asked the 4 40 lbs bags be placed outside the garage. They put them by the front door. Heavy to move and one bag was cut. Salt spill!

Caught these on sale for less than $8 a bag and stocked up. Work great with my whole house water softener.

Great product at great price. Wish Sam's carried the 25# size so I wouldn't have to bring my grandson to load it. I have used order on line pickup which was very helpful.

Even though I do not own a water softener at the present time, I purchased this salt for an ice melter for the nasty snow / ice storms we received this past winter. You can't beat Sam's Club for the value.

A good salt tablet for softening hard water
